Turrets, turrets, turrets, you go near your minions? Aoe stun, chunk half your health in 2s at lv 3. Gank? HAHA ult Q + E, cya! How do I even fight this?

Outrange him, or blow up his turrets then go on him. Sion funnily enough shits on him because you beat him up with his own turrets.

Extremely frustrating if you don't know how to play against him, and the champion you have. Heimer works good on seiging, and fighting in 1v2 situations. One prime issue is Heimer doesn't have the sustain, but he does have the constant dmg. Just poke out Heimer's turrents because that's one of his main source of dmg. Use a range ability that'll easily knock Heimer's turrents out. Xerath, Sion, Lucian, Teemo, etc.

everyone i get seems to go mid and rush item 3060 . If he picks before me i almost always pick Syndra . If you pick anything short range and/or weak wave clear you are pretty much boned.

Stack MR and dive him in a 1v1 situation. If he has good peel it gets a bit more tricky.

The best answer is to counter pick him or just dont fight him. somewhere along the way like 3 seasons ago everyone including riot forgot that this is supposed to be a strategy game and not a team death match game. You never have to kill you lane opponent. Just use wave manipulation or make him back due to health or mana loss and out farm him then push in and roam to other lanes. You never have to kill a single enemy to win the game. Most high elo games are won this way not form snowballing form kills.

if its top lane hiemer than sion absolutely shits in his soul another top lane option would be Gangplank, if its mid you have a wealth of aoe options for turret destruction but my personal favorite is syndra, nothing better than beating him to death with his own turret.

Nasus, max E, kill all of his turrets with that huge ass AoE lol. You'll stack slower but he'll be useless without his turrets.

Heimerdinger will push you under turret until you can sustain your mana/push harder then him. Champions I've found can do this well from my pool are Malzahar, Diana, Galio, Anivia, and Brand.

With Malz you just start sapphire crystal, get to 500 gold for a tear, or if you can last long enough the get a lost chapter at 950 gold. Either of these will give you the pushing power and sustain to get him under his turrent, plus if you run electrocute on malz you can easily kill him in a 1v1 at this point.

Diana use your E to draw all the minions and turrets to you, then use w and q on them all. It won't kill all of the minions, but WILL kill all the turrets. Then you can just AA and use your passive to clear the rest of the wave. Back for a couple of extra dorans rings for sustain, hp and AP and then at 6 look to see if heimer has a stopwatch. if he does try to bait it out, if not then delete at your leisure.

Galio... just farm as normal. Not much he can do to you...

Anivia, use your q to harass him if he comes close enough, but otherwise farm under tower until 6, then use your ult to wreck him. Remember to back for an early tear.

Brand, use your w + e combo to clear waves/turrets until you can get a tear/catalyst/lost chapter. Proceed to burn him to a crisp.

Heimer is great at pushing, but also very squishy. Any form of combo on him can be life threatening. Play safe when you can't survive his poke, and 1 shot him the second he steps out of line. Also ALWAYS TELL YOUR JG TO LEAVE HIM ALONE! Heimer is like an Illaoi with ult: Begging for someone to come gank her for a free double kill! You beat heimer solo or not at all.
