I wish I could find the video, but I believe it was Sky Williams who posted it. He asked his viewers to watch random clips of submitted videos from all ranks in ranked games and to write down the rank that they felt thee video or clip was from. In many of the clips one person would be getting destroyed all the way to an even farming lane. After revealing the answers though, the likely hood that you consistently got any right was little to none. The point is, even the best players have bad games and when you go into a game someone has to win. Climbing from any rank is going to be dependent on you truly showing a mastery of the game and increase to a higher win rate than that of your fellow rankies. (Lets not forget, when you are gold, not only are golds on your team, you are playing against gold). Take advantage of dynamicQ also and find some buddies you can trust to make good decisions.
