What is this tactic called?

In every moba i have played i have seen this tactic done by newer or less experienced players and i assume it has a name by now So help me out here.

In this tactic you kill the enemy team during the final push of the game and after you win the team fight rather than your team destroying the last few towers in winning. your team mates decide to go farm jungle or farm minions of another lane rather than taking towers in an already pushed lane. I have seen this happen in every. single. moba i have played. Why do people do this? what is going through a players head while they do this?

The idea is that they can't win right that second so they prepare for the next fight.

I never understood why 80% of players dont push the lane that has super minions spawning in it...FOR THEIR TEAM!!!! Instead of fighting alongside super minions, they push other lanes..just push with the minions..its ineffective to take an inhib then not use the super minions to your advantage

Eh it happens when the winning team gets really cocky. They'll try to extend games so that they can pad their kda and just further crush the enemy team. It's dumb af because it allows for the losing team to catch up and win, or just ruins the losing teams game if they can't win.
