Yorick, worst champion, hidden gem, or blind luck?

So i while a go I loved to go yorick top, it was a lot of fun, over the last few years i stayed away from him due to there being better and more fun champions. Looking at tier lists yorick is considered the worst of the worst, worst than urgot. But recently ive been playing him. Played 5 games with him yesterday only lost 1.

I played against a team that was considered to be all god tier champions, They had volibear, shen, caitlyn, rammus and Zed and i just ended up going 13/3 on them winning the match by flash engaging the ADC.

Another game i played I ended up going top against nasus as a yorick, nasus is suppose to hard counter yorick and get "easy stacks" from his ghosts. I ended up making the nasus go 0/6/1 and also getting the quad kill late game. went 15/4.

I dont want to rely on yorick too much in ranked or even at all but i cant deny what ive been seeing. maybe it was just luck?

I mean yorick has all but been forgotten about as we await the rework but he still some how crushes from the 5 games i played with him.

I mean I see how he's bad, using flash to engage with no CC is not how you want to play a champion at all. but some how it worked for me for 4 games.
