What if Eve couldn't see wards?
Normal wards can't see Eve, Eve can't see any wards.
This will prevent her from clearing the pinks, or sweeping greens even. She gets no benefit from smiting birds.
Allies can still tell her where pinks are but she can't clear them because she can't target them.
With two pinks out (I see marksmen buying pinks as they should in games with no stealth enemies a bunch) you can restrict Eve's attack vectors considerably.
You could even make the idea of vision for a shadow creature repulsive and prevent her from buying or using wards at all. Wards can't see her, she can't see wards, she can't see areas lit by ally wards. Make Eve and wards completely incompatible. (You could balance this by making Eve and Eve alone able to see stealthed enemies in her radius.)
Just spitballing, but what would a game look like if Eve had no vision radius at all, but she can't utilize ambient vision from friendly units? The map would be effectively useless to her. Maybe she can see WHERE allies are, but hilariously tiny if not nonexistent vision ranges? Enemies can't see her until she attacks, but she can't see anything outside of her own personal vision range.
The endgame for Eve is putting her stealth back on an ability and reworking her entire kit because permastealth has proven to be 100% unbalanceable but this will do in the meantime so we can stop with the seemingly random, definitely unending nerf parade. I wish I felt like I had an advantage when I play Eve these days; so many conditions need to be true just to survive your own gank.
