Runes are expensive.

Like my word. I've been saving up my IP for a little bit, saved about 7200IP. Thought i'd finally go buy some runes to make some new rune pages for my self. I don't even have enough for CDR Blues (Glyph's). This is insane, how is this even allowed. I have some basic rune pages set up, so i'm not suffering that badly. But what about the people who are just starting to level there accounts, who are new to this game.

Not to mention the price it costs to BUY new rune pages if you want more then the generic two.

Yeah it's pretty nuts, my only advice is to wait for the start of the season, usually the runes and rune pages are sold at discounts. Not a whole lot of help I get that, but it helps a little bit.

Didn't they already decrease the rune prices too? But yea runes really shouldn't be so hard to get for new players when they are such a needed thing to play.

They only decreased the prices of basic runes like AD Marks, Armor Seals, etc.

In truth it takes a lot of time to build decent rune pages, and it is heavily expensive, you must either decide to buy champs or runes

I'm not denying that at all, I currently have all the champions, so it's no longer a tossup for me. It basically just requires a hell of a lot of time to acquire the IP for it all. I'm working on getting health Quints now, and they're like 2050 per rune, it's stupid.

They made it a little bit easier than when I collected my first batches of runes as things like armor seals used to cost twice what they do now, but nontheless. I'm about two years in and I've finally managed to collect up runes, and have all the champions, and admittedly that was through the usage of RP a little here and there to purchase champion bundles, and the occasional IP boost, but even through that, still working on runes 2 years later.

Hybrid pen marks were a nightmare. 840ip each I think for 9 of them 7560 for the set. The Double IP weekends were a godsend.

I got almost every rune I can remember, yet I dont have enough Rune Pages to get them all on the line... too expensive...

If you bought 18 rune pages it would only cost you 113400 ip.
