They havn't played that champion in the last 20 games and have a 34% winrate on them, but they decide to throw it into ranked because why not? Unending cycle.
Whenever someone on my team flames me for feeding I go to their match history and start listing in game all their games that they fed on and the champ they fed with.

thats why id rather play ranked for fun, its pretty sad there are almost all tryhards in norms to the point i have to play ranked to have fun or learn a champ without vsing a m7 one trick in lane like the usual in norms
