Countering Champions With An Item

is this intended or just something that didnt get thought about until it was too late to fix.

their isn't many champions that are completely made unviable due to a single item but is made completely poop by . i cant think of any other champion that is effected by items as hard as malzahar. if malz ult and you ss he has no way to handle it. is there anyway that this can be fixed or would it require a rework (his kit is sexy) or am i just playing him wrong (most games no one buys ss but when they do omfg)

That's because QSS is the only counterplay to Malzahar and Warwick lol. If they are built right, you will 100-0 die during their ult with no chance to fight back.

To be fair, the people who Malz really wants to ult do not want to build QSS, so making them do so has already hurt their build, and he can still ult someone else. Forcing QSS into the ADC's lineup means either no GA or less damage, which are both wins.

i will admit that malz does have little counterplay. the way riot has been against no counterplay champs as of late he would get a rework is he started to receive more play. the regen changes made malz much stronger since he still can have infinite mana with his dots
