Good top Laners for Bronze?

I'm trying to learn a new top laner for the upcoming season. I finished in Bronze 2 last year and i played alot of Rumble. For reasons you can probably figure out, I want to learn a simpler top laner. I'm looking for something more team orientated then a carry style. I know people say they should try to play carry style of champs to climb, but that's not MY STYLE.

I used to play mid and support. I know these champs can play top lane, but i'm not sure how good they are in the current META. I'm also looking into as an option.

If any one has any other suggestions or ideas/tips, all advice would be appreciated.

Maokai is stupidly easy and strong: rush 2 dorans ring for the mana refund once you kill minions, rush bami and then resistances for who you're against, after lv7 just spam Q on the wave and you'll oneshot it, just push, group and engage, welcome to gold.

I'd say, the champs that seem to hard carry most often in my games are:

Kennen Garen Olaf Illaoi

Like anything else, you're going to need to get real good at 2 of them. Real good = knowing what you need to do against most of the champs you'll play against.

You should try out pantheon. He a great bully with good survivability with his block. His poke is extremely oppressive and his map presence can be very detrimental for low elo. Just make sure to use your ult to force the enemy to either run through it or run back into a team mate. Never try to place it directly on an enemy as they have enough time to walk out of it if they don't panic.

You looking to hard carry out of bronze? Tryndamere, Darius, Jax, Jayce, Fiora, GP, Graves, Irelia, Olaf, Pantheon, Riven, Teemo, Heimerdinger. You're pretty much looking for people who can hardcore split push to provide your team with a stronger mid game gold advantage so by late game your team has a clear cut advantage so they can make mistakes but still be superior due to their itemization advantage. Also people have great difficulty dealing with great split pushers, especially in bronze elo.
