Was the teleport cast time 1 second increase to stop people from using kalista as a taxi?

if i recall right tp was nerfed because as usual adc players bitched about getting gangbanged when they did risky overxtending plays.Now tp is almost useless outside high elo (d3+) and it's better off getting acombat summoner like EXhaust to stomp lane and force a firstblood tower in a solo lane instead of bot. Ofc it's still viable for when laning lane bullies.

As someone already said, it was because adcs bitched about it(as they do about everything). About the kalista taxi thing, I can't remember the video but a rioter said that it would have been cool if players started doing that. Then he said to please give them a reason to nerf that strat. But it never caught on .

It was nerfed because all the top laners were using the feed off of bot lane. The 1 second gives bot lane more time to react to a ward teleport coming from behind them.

It's either that, annoyance at botlane not having time to react, or me abusing TP with Kindred's ult as an "oh shit" card. Probably a mixture of all three.
