His kit can be fun, but it mostly isn't. He's super clunky and has like no engagement at all with his kit. It's basically spam Q (with its massive mana costs) and W until you can afford to rush in an R.

New Galio is really fun and gets to do a lot of cool shit. He feels epic, and you feel like you have impact in the game outside of being a R bot.

Btw his ulti is really a gamechanging spell But he isn't only ulti His E is really handful if used right u can use it to rush a wave at ur lane to enemy turret before your enemy return to lane U can use it for engage or disengage His Q does good damage and slow His passive is very very reliable and u can combine with your W to get 45 ap His 90 mr armor given to allies is unique He is a unique champ Riot just want to turn him into a normal mainstream juggernaut

An R bot? Really? That's all he fucking was to you?

His Q chunked people and had a pretty strong slow, and not to mention it was also on a pretty short cooldown.

His W was probably the strongest shield ability in the game. Not only did it give its target 90 armor and magic resist, but it ALSO could heal you for over 70% of your health. Combine that with the 50% damage reduction on your ultimate, and you could effectively start healing for around 35% in the middle of a major team fight. You could also place that shit on a squishy ally who's getting focused or diving in, drastically reducing the amount of damage they take while at the same time healing yourself.

His E not only chunked people, but it also had, along with Kog'Maw's E, the most length and width of any skillshot in the game. It also MASSIVELY sped up any allies who were on it, so not only could you throw it at an enemy and chunk multiple people with it, but you could also use it to help them run away if the enemy team is closing in on them, or to help speed your allies up when they're chasing after somebody.

He had a surprising amount of depth and options for such an early champion, and even held up somewhat well in terms of today.

There was a lot more to Old Galio than just his ult.

Actually, AP Galio was tankier than full tank Galio thanks to that amazing shield. My build was item 3165 item 3047 item 3001 item 3089 item 3135 item 3065 . Do a shit ton of damage while still being tanky as fuck and having good mana sustain.

All I remember is one of my last SR games where there was a Nunu/Galio bot lane that got to the late game and double ulted all of us to death. Not to mention the massive amounts of health and tankiness on their side. We should have won earlier but it was still fun.

I think all I'm gonna miss chanting "Idol of Durand" because half the time that's all that mattered. Chanting "Shield of Durand" might take a while.

he was fun, but So glad the rework is coming. He was pretty bad in 90% of situations compared to other champs. Also with the rework I can finally play him jungle :D. Im actually really excited

I had fun with him, good last two weeks. Wish they didn't ignored him for so long and have better kit updates a long time ago, then they wouldn't have felt the need to completely over haul him from scratch...
