Small Essence Reaver Buff
Current effect: restore 2-8% mana on basic attack New effect: restore 2-8% mana on** physical damage**
Current effect: restore 2-8% mana on basic attack New effect: restore 2-8% mana on** physical damage**
So, Someone like Sivir uses her QW on a minion wave and gets all of her entire mana bar back, regardless of how low.. This would remove mana costs on the champions that use it.
i think thats a bit of an exaggeration, but if it is that huge make it work like spell vamp whereit has a reduced effect with aoe abilities
Or add a charge number/cooldown to the effect, like what
does. Sivir's Ricochet would be a fast way to consume all charges in one attack but wouldn't be that OP.
it isn't really, I mean a single W empowered AA using elixir of wrath heals her from half to full on a stacked minion wave, so using 3 W AAs and a Q would easily replenish nearly full mana.
Bloodlust: Dealing physical damage to champions heals for 10% of the damage dealt. Scoring a kill or assist extends duration of this elixir by 30 seconds.
What's your point? It is still a fact that a W empowered AA with elixir of Wrath can actually restore that much health (It's been shown in LCS and I've tested it myself).
Furthermore, Essence Reaver restores % max mana per hit, and with this change, it would restore at minimum 60% Max mana against a creep wave with only 6 creeps in it (2% per instance of damage (minimum) times 5 instances of damage per creep times 6 creeps).
His point was that the elixir only heals off damage to champions
Unique Passive: Your basic attacks restore mana equal to between 2% and 8% of the physical damage dealt, based on your missing mana.
You realy need to learn to read
You need to learn what the response was responding to smarty.
To quote the OP (and what the rest of us were all discussing):
Current effect: restore 2-8% mana on basic attack New effect: restore 2-8% mana on physical damage
That is why I was pointing out that this idea would be broken on someone like Sivir, but you are so caught up in your own head that you don't even know what the hell anyone is even talking about. This is a discussion, not just "pull random facts out of the air time".
You seriously need to read dude. Op is just trading the "basic attack" part to "any physical damage" He didnt said anything about changing from 2-8% of damage dealt (being from basics or from any source) to 2-8% of max mana by the face. He just want to change it from mana steal (reference to life steal) to mana steal+mana spell (reference to spell vamp) PLEASE PLEASE read this and stop acting like a smart guy even when literaly all your post on this thread are stupid. It will be broken on sivir? Yes It will be as broken as you imagine? HELL no
Need this:
New effect: restore 2-8% mana on physical damage (Half of the amount on AoE Skills)
Need this:
New effect: restore 2-8% mana on physical damage (Half of the amount on AoE Skills)
and damage over time spells.
The only physical damage over time effect I can think of is bleed, so I highly doubt it would have to come to that.
Wasn't
supposed to be an item for AD casters? Don't AD casters not autoattack as much as other champs? This change makes perfect sense.
Unless they're assassins, who don't need to rely on mana regen anyways, this isn't as true as you might think. Sivir has her passive, Lucian has his passive, Ez gets his passive and the on-hit effect on his [Q], Jinx has her [Q], Ashe has her [Q], Corki has his passive, so on and so forth.
The only buff Essence Reaver needs is to have a weaker version of itself in the recipe.
Really, the only reason it is not very attractive to certain champions is because it gives no mana until it is complete.
ya... this or CDR would be nice. new brutalizer item?
it doesnt need a mini essence reaver. just a slight change in build path.
+ 250 gold (same total cost) would be enough. it would even explain where the 10% cdr and the mana passive come from.
otherwise a change like the op suggested for mana dependent ad casters would make sense aswell.
the main complaint about the item is, that it needs the entire item combined before youre getting any mana sustain out of it. so putting forbidden idol in the build path would mean you could pick it up early either with the vamp scepter or the bf sword.
I think all it needs is another item in the build path.
Soul Sickle -
+
Soul Sickle +
=
I seeing soul sickle on the pbe, whatever happened to that?
I don't think it's a good idea.
It allows these AD champions to play far too passively with it. This is the reason S4 Mana Font was so broken. It wasn't the level of regen it gave, it was the fact it gave it with zero interaction. They could waveclear forever.
All it needs is the PBE item that was once there that built into it and gave 1-6% mana. The problem is that by the time you would finish this item you could of had a full stacked tear. For 1k less. And provides similar AD and stronger AA/single target hits. I'm sure ER would overall be more damage, but the fact it costs 1k more is enough. 10% CDR can be gotten from many places to make up that part.
I have heard that the reason they don't make Essence Reaver better is because ad assassins, bruisers, and casters like Talon, Jayce, Hecarim, as well as others would get too much benefit from it. They would have to nerf the item to the point that would be worthless on Corki (only E does physical damage). They would either nerf the mana restore percentage, or the damage.
They really need to focus on how to make it better for the intended ADCs without having Hecarim go all helicopter in lane, or have a Talon with easy wave pushing and harass in lane.
60-70 AD.
heavy breathing
That's not a small buff....
If this were the case, then
should be removed.
No, the active on muramana is still good and favors mana pool abilities instead of just regen.
Having something automatically restore the mana as it is used is very helpful for Muramana
All it needs is the PBE item that was once there that built into it and gave 1-6% mana. The problem is that by the time you would finish this item you could of had a full stacked tear. For 1k less. Well reaver differs from manamune in that it offers lifesteal.
I would suggest:
60 DMG (or 70dmg)
15% lifesteal
And 10% cdr
A sort of return to its initial release. But placing more emphasis on the fact that its a lifesteal item.
The early mana return portion would build out of
+ like two
would cost like 1700k gold. While the lifesteal instead of building into vamomscepter it would build into a new item say blood scepter. It would give 10% lifesteal plus .5 lifesteal per 2 minutes. Up to 12%. Blood scepter would cost like 975 gold.
This item would also be used to build blood thirster.
Also blood scepter would have a unique passive on it that would dissuade people from stacking blood thirster with it. Such that if you were to stack them you'd be down 5% lifesteal.
It'd be a bit like the new recurve bow. It will give you a build path that gives you flat mana regen from faerie charms and takes them and converts it into a mana regen mechanic. Much like recurve does additional ad DMG and then converts it into magic on devourer/wits end.
Essence Reaver should be
+
+ Mini reaver
Cost 3025 1000+875+600+550
Recipe price 550
75 ad
10 cdr
10 lifesteal
+50% mana regen
UNIQUE Passive: Your basic attacks restore mana equal to between 2% and 8% of the physical damage dealt, based on your missing mana.
Mini Reaver (builds from
+
)
Cost 1000 (360+360+280)
Recipe price 280
25 ad
5 lifesteal
UNIQUE Passive: Your basic attacks restore mana equal to between 2% and 8% of the physical damage dealt, based on your missing mana.
I'd probably take Mini Reaver down to 20 AD, also I'd probably lower it to between 2% and 5%( so that it feels more favorable to actually fully build this item, plus the passive would only have to be worth 55 gold to make this item cost efficient). As for your essence reaver It's statistical value isn't terrible, 3,927 gold but that doesn't even include it's passive.. so maybe offers too much? o.o you get 25 ad, 5% life steal, and the unique passive just for finishing the item.. maybe if the recipe costed just a tad more, possibly 750-850 gold? changing the total price to 3225-3325... and even at that it's still incredibly cost efficient ^-^
No mini reaver. Trust me.
The biggest buff ER needs is popularity. I don't think a number of the champs that could get it do. They'd rather go BT for the extra life steal and the shield. Also CDR is weird on non-AP champs, it seems like only the manaless AD champs really want it.
ONLY if it's single-target physical damage
I think this could be a decent enough idea with some tweaking.
to name a few. These champs are why we never got a baby ER and this item would become core rush first item on them, making lanes a living hell.
This makes perfect sense lol. Great idea.
