has anyone tried Gangplank with BoTrK?

i think it will have a good synergy with his passive, alongside the fact his Q applies BoTrK's passive, no?

I'm too fond of Critplank to try him as a standard fighter, but I guess Botkr migh be a nice choice for on-hitplank.

Could definitely work. On-Hit GP would like it. item 3262 item 3153 item 3025 item 3074 item 3087 item 3065

It's an okay item later, but as a rush imo its garbage.

but i though it's absolutely amazing during lane and especially effective early?

not BoTrK.. Blade of the Ruined King = BotRK.

Gps passive magic dmg = no procs from BotRK

His autos and Q will still apply BotRK normally, what are you talking about?

Misunderstood OP. Though he meant if GPs passive would trigger BotRK.

Btw, in my post i just mentioned GPs passive (poison) that it doesn't proc BotRK, not about his AA/Q :|

i get a gimps feeling of, Q'ing taking an amount of enemy current health + lifestealing it+ applying a passive, GP doesn't really have an all in, so i'd say BoTrK would do good, i plan on trying it, but i can't seem to be able to call top at blindpick, and teambuilders alwas picking everyone but me lol

Maybe try support GP :D? Starting with item 3097 ?

Tbh i have never ever built BotRK on GP. Never ever though about it, so can't say if it's good or not. I can only say thet whenever i build Hydra on GP, my crits are far rarer on Q (maybe it's just my luck).

Imo try it, maybe it'll turn into some new GP meta build :P

You can build literally any end game item on GP and it will work

You could do it and have it work okay. A downside is that the damage from Bork is physical, so anyone building armor is someone you don't want to tangle with since the magic damage from your passive is next to nothing after level 5 or 6.

One way to get around this and still do on-hit is to use the Koreanplank build. You grab item 3091 item 3087 as your first two items, then go tank. The idea is that you'll do lots of mixed damage in lane and be difficult to itemize against, and then transition into a bruiser that dives the enemy carries for teamfights.
