Aurelion Sol didn't get changed, yet he is by far the most powerful afk push and roam mage in the game. It's actually his only playstyle.

Somehow Riot managed to kill mages mid because of non stop shoving (btw assassins and bruisers and whoever the fuck builds tiamat does the exact same thing and usually it's with no mana but you know meddler), but somehow didn't address the most powerful shover in the game.

Anyone else find that funny? [EDITED BY MODERATION]

Also isnt it well known fact that assassins have no waveclear? (at least thats what every ass main says on board) they struggling to kill even one ranged minion! How can they be doing the same but better?

Who cares about the assassins, they are as bad as we are, except talon. Mages right now are probably the second worst class in the entire game, because we do no damage at all. Bruisers like renekton and wuukong oneshot our ass, even if we build zhonyas and have 100+Armor, yet if they go maw we can't do anything. This is the worst state of mages that i have ever seen. We get things like electrocute that are completely overkill against a adc for example. But when it comes down to bruisers and when electrocute is on CD for half a minute, our poke damage is nonexistent in this game. and at the same time bruisers can do the same thing but better with double hp of a Mage. IDK what riot is thinking or doing. And i'm not the first player that says mages are bad. Faker says it since Months. Apdo said it since Months. There is a reason why irelia was "useless top" yet broken "mid" guess why. but don't worry guys and other Mage pLayers. Riot believes our class is fine and we have great solo carry potential because we are very mobile and have some burst damage. Don't worry, our carry potential is still there when our Sidelanes are getting crushed and 3k hp guys are jumping our asses and get no damage at all. Not to mention the free rift herald that will crush our tower all games long when they loose early and we can't do anything about it guys

Assassin mains complaining about Mage waveclear dosen't makes sense at all. From this perspective, it looks like they are taking any other classes' defining attribute and call it "op" because they don't have access to it. Remember when they complained about tanks resisting their burst back when tanks were, well, actual tanks? Remember when they complained about ADCs being able to do more damage than them even though its why they even exist? Actually, the only time they were right was back then with the item 3504 meta where supports had the power to actually neglect any action from an assassin would took against their ADC.

And now, since some weeks ago, it looks like their big frustration are mages now. You know, mages? The guys with a very limiting casting ressource along with ridiculously huge early cooldowns, but who are apparently too overpowered because of their waveclear? But, well, when they are farming under turret like animals while a Zed with unlimited casting ressource can do more damage at a more constant rate some people still say that they have too much waveclear it seems.

Anytime any other class does something good, assassins will complain about it. Sometimes, like with tanks and ADCs, Riot will ignore most of their request either because of favoritism or for some obscure reasons. But recently, when it came to mages, a group already underwhelming except on some rare occasions, they didn't even hesitate before throwing them in a pit (a deep, manaless pit), and the worst part is the fact that some mages are STILL out of this pit and are actually doing good, and because of those few exceptions, Riot and some people in the community are still digging a deeper pit in the hopes that anyone scaling with AP while relying on ability casts will never ever come back

What did you expect? I mean when these guys wanted to nerf Talon who is destroying everyone early and snowballs, they nerfed his late rank W. The logic level is too damn high.

The funniest thing is they changed Teemo mana growth.

Is he a mage? No.
Does he shove waves? Not much.
Does he build mana items? Usually not.

.. idk, it wasn't even in the patch notes, but riot won't respond so I think it was intentional??..

Annie Anivia Karthus Veigar Ziggs Zoe Xerath How are you going to compare the wave clear of these champions to assassins, just because assassins have waveclear doesnt mean that have better wave clear. I even forgot Malz, really your going to compare Zed to anivia in terms of wave clear? Talon might with tiamat but compared to all these champions cmon.

kill mages? They not only shove mid but also now bot. Adcs while still being picked have in some mages a dominant counterpick which shove in the lane and take towers.

to be fair you just can't nerf sols clear or else you gonna destroy him. As unique as his gameplay is to solve this he needs a rework.

they didnt kill mages but i feel like their laning phases are worse than those of assassins which is not a bad thing since mages are supposed to shine during teamfights (i think?) but tbh i feel like assassins laning phase is too good atm mainly because sorcery sucks ass and domination is retarded (especially electrocute)

but still what i would want is tuning down some of the runes in the domination tree while leaving sorcery as it is

aurelion sol damage wise is mostly in his w, mix that with the ult slow and good damage with push back, q stun, and put a item 3116 in the mix you get a pretty strong space boi
