So why did they give Talon 9 extra MR so you literally can't trade him with as an AP. Why the fuck would you play kassadin, when talon has more mobility early on that's free, can actually wave clear and is infinitely stronger early.
Btw this assassin, can fucking wave clear more efficiently than mages, good work on that one meddler.
I mean, Kassadin was anti mage because he has a point and click silence, not because of his MR, but ok.

Talon used to be of the 'anti-mage' archetype in his release kit because of his old E. It silenced and dodged you out of oncoming crowd control skill shots.
Talon's waveclear is complete ass early game what. Old Kass had a targeted silence that lasted for 2.5 seconds at max rank and magic damage reduction. He had a 98% banrate for the entirety of Season 3 and partway through Season 4. This is like comparing apples to an atomic bomb. You clearly were not around for old Kass.

An assassin needs good wavepush to be able to trade with ranged poke early.
What Talon needs is mana nerfs that scale up so at mid-late game he can't just spam W and insta clear waves with tiamat.
The extra MR they gave Talon was the oddest buff. It was for mid lane Talon because he was taking too much poke damage from mages, Zed didn't get this yet is in a similar scenario. It meant he had as base MR 7 higher than every champ, even Galio. While with one 1100 gold item and sudden impact, he basically ignores some midlaners armour, many of whom are below 20 from the get go. Now they are nerfing his wave clear, which means he need to be next to waves more, taking more poke?
