I haven't landed against Senna, Rakan, or Brand top (and hope I never have to) but I can say without a doubt that the others are absolutely broken in top lane.
The biggest offender is Karma. There is absolutely no risk to running her top lane. She's basically invincible. I'm aware that her winrate is negative globally (though it is positive in some regions), but I have no idea how it got that way.
The matches I've played against that braindead trash are some of the worst out of my entire League history. I can only assume that, like Akali and Irelia, her bad winrate comes from D tier garbage players who try to abuse her and are so bad they can't make one of the easiest things in the game work.
Playing against Karma top doesn't feel like laning against a strong opponent. It feels like laning against someone who is cheating. Sustained damage doesn't scratch her. No burst damage is high enough to put that scummy champion down. She is almost impossible to catch while spamming slows and roots at the same time as heals and movement speed boosts.
Anyone who plays that garbage isn't clever. And I dare say that anyone who "mains it" probably can't pull a positive winrate on anything else in top lane outside of S tier. But then, that's why people are going to defend it tooth and nail, right?
Lulu always leaks into top when the state of the lane is bad and Janna has always been a solid top laner for the laning phase specifically. After that she's worthless dead weight, but pretty much nothing beats her in lane.
Yeah, Karma is definitely the worst, though. Hotfix that shit.
