eh that's nothing I've had plenty of matches vs plat, diamond, master smurfs on new accounts even in silver elo. This game is hardcore addiction and the high elo players constantly create multiple new alt accounts for various reasons: refresh rng, mask identity, spoof a w/r in a new alt role or using a certain champ, boost players, to sell accounts, stomp troll noobs etc.

Because ranks and MMR are not correct from the start. Takes time to build Data for statistical systems.

So you won. Now your Bronze 2. Skipped a Division.

Your in S2 Elo roughly. Remember that Gold 4 has a massive demotion protection in place so you will find a lot of Silver 1-2 players with shiny gold icons.

Ranks are a progression system. They move slower and exist to impact player perception, Basically adds Grind and generates benchmark goals to motivate people.

MMR is skill raiting system. Its not magic and wont have a good value for a low Game account. Like some one who has only put in 28 ranked games over 4 years.

Any questions let me know.

If you keep that win rate ratio you will be playing vs platinum players and later with diamond players.

Your account doesnt have many games in Solo Q, your last rank was from season 7 with only 9 games, you didnt get ranked but your MMR probably was around silver rank. Now in this season your win game ratio is good and for accounts with few ranked games a win gives you a lot of MMR and a lose will make you lose a lot of MMR until the system start giving you about the same league points per win as you will lose by a defeat.

If you where to stop ranked this season and start next year again you will be matched vs gold and silver players again. Just keep in mind that.

Probably that they are on a losing streak, while you were on a winning streak
