How do you get off Prisoner's Island (being matched with other people who have been reported)?

One time in MY promo when my team was losing 20-2 I AFK'ed out of rage. Almost immediately and since, going on about 2 weeks now, I'm constantly on teams where someone AFK's.

I've been reported by my team for playing Warwick. When multiple people report you, you get lumped with other reported people. Suddenly people are cursing constantly, raging, not playing like a team. Its extremely obvious. Getting out of this situation seems hopeless. Once you get reported by multiple people, you seem to be screwed no matter what you do. I try to lead the team, I ignore insults, I try to help. I get regular "team player" honors. Yet it doesn't matter, I'm still on prisoner's island.

Can someone from Riot (inside the company, not outside) talk about how to get off Prisoner's Island? And please don't deny it exists, anyone that has been reported by their team several times will certainly know what I am talking about.

Hmm your right. I can be wicked toxic but it's because I feel like I'm playing with retarded people all the time. I think the whole game is prisoner island though. I think that there are so many trolls afkers and toxic people it looks like that. Fuck this Game

Stopped reading at "AKD'ed".

Continued reading to answer your question. Riot doesn't do Prisoner's Island queues/matchmaking. Not in the true sense. If you're in a low priority queue, I suppose chances are you're with other toxic players. But it's not a Prisoner's Island intent. Just more of a coincidence.

That said, just keep playing without being toxic (yes, AFK'ing is toxic). And you'll get back to regular queue eventually. If you're not in low priority queue... just dumb luck. That you deserve.
