Riven's sustain with shield and Hydra is way too high, especially with this no armor meta

I thought league was a team game, where 1 player can't dominate 5. Well from what I've witnessed over multiple games, Riven can. We were in fights were she literally killed the whole team single-handedly multiple times despite the team trying to CC and focus her. What can you do against this? armor is very expensive now, and even if you build it you won't have enough to make much of a difference against her damage, particularly with Last Whisper. Riot, plz, maybe there are a few Riven's in the balance team but this is ridiculous.

First, assuming Wukong went top, that's a very tough matchup for him right there.

Secondly, she must have been insanely fed to have dealt that much damage. All fed champions deal insane amounts of damage and if you let her 1v5 like you said, you just got completely outplayed.

Third, she's easily countered by the likes of Kennen, Cho, Malphite, and Garen.

Any champ fed enough can out damage a team, heck, I've seen AP Blitz do 40,000 damage. If you can out play her or shut her down early you can make her irrelevant. Feel your pain, but riven is still not nerf worthy considering how much skill with animation canceling she takes at higher levels of play. (also don't play Warwick, has pretty bad right now, and play Garen if he's open against Riven)

Don't play warwick, that champion is garbage
Beating riven involves CCing her so she can't deal damage.

Riven will almost always look to flank in teamfights because her teamfighting is poor. If she just JUMPS in she will get ulted by you, and just die. If you wanna beat riven 1v1 play champions like udyr... Early game she shits on udyr but mid-late game he can out sustain riven.

Riven isn't overpowered, shes just annoying as fuck to play versus. I feel your pain.

If you feed a champ she will do damage an if the riven is good and you not as good as her you will get shit on.

You dont really have to CC her even just focus her she like yi except she cant go untagetable. most ppl mess up when they clump together and she 3-4 man knocks up and stuns your team. Yeah then you are fucked but as long as your carries position correctly and your tanks get in her face she wont be able to jump on your team and kill them

the way to beat riven, as with many snowballing champs, is to make sure she doesn't get rolling. get some jungle support in her lane. 5 man gank her. make her be sorry for picking riven. ezpz

Why didn't your team just repeatedly CC chain her away from fights? If you don't have a lot of hard CC then GG.

She has not more sustain then any other champ with lifesteal and she stays squishy even if ahead. Also her laning already got butchered earlygame, the only strong point of her is midgame laning and even then Irelia outscales her fast. She is already outclassed by champions, just because you cant handle her ( what a lot of low elo people cant, thats why there is so much qq about her!) it doesnt mean they need to nerf her even more. Btw you didnt show how long that game went, it seems like 10k damage overall is not much for these champions on average, I guess they sucked. even rivens 38k doesnt seem much on that picture if that was a 30 minute + match.
