Here's how you beat veigar in late game

You don't, unless you're veigar or nasus.

Nasus isn't a late game champion. He gets melted by AD carries and never gets to reach the backline, nor does he have armor pen to hurt the frontline.

IKR. The amount of people who don't realize Nasus's true strength is mid-game is ridiculous

He can easily 100-0 anyone with at least two damage skills. He has 3 damage skills and taking one away wont do anything.

veigar is the chinese version of syndra

lol if he has been farming, 1 Q/1 ult is enough

Well, blocking his Q means, if you're full health, he needs to hit his W in order to kill you.

So it does do something.

Now if it pops on E or W... no.

I mean, it's pretty simple really. Make him use his E. Get on his face. Pound him into the fucking ground.

If you have the right champion, there's also the option to just outrange him.

Really, Veigar's late game isn't as good as people make it out to be. It's definitely not bad, but mid-game is where Veigar really shines.

Xerath does this wonderfully. Bursts Veigar from outside of Veigar's range.

His lvl 6 is pretty good, that ult hurts.

Yep, lvl 6 is when Veigar finally becomes actually dangerous. He then only gets stronger and stronger up until people start reaching about level 16, where he starts falling back just a bit. I think that summarizes his spikes pretty neatly.

... I mean, I should know. He's my highest mastery champion.

Biggest damage with his 1200 AP and biggest stun in the game, I think of it as a massive tibburs on like a 12 sec cd. So you can just stand in it and not be stunned? But then you still have to stand in it, boop.

Hard engage him or his team, he can't do a lot of damage to multiple people unless they are stacked.

Never tried the element of surprise huh?

Hey if he kills me he'll go down with me.

If that's a 1 for 1 I'll take it.

You get magic resist and avoid his abilities. He's also squishy, so get an assassin, marksman, or another mage to kill him. His only ability that doesn't need aiming is his ultimate, which is an execute so it relies more on him landing other abilities.

Or don't walk up to him or facecheck bushes. Yes, he has an insane lategame burst but his range is so small, he'll either get poked to death or get all-ined if he tries to catch someone with his stun.

Wouldn't Nasus be bad because unless he build's Merc Scim he's not going to be able to reach a good Veigar? If Nasus built Banshee's even, a good Veig would prioritize breaking the shield with his Q.
