Which summoners to use when

Just looking for insight as to which summoners I should be taking in conjunction with depending on who im up against in mid lane.

As far as im aware, taking in the jungle, top (unless youre someone like in which case you take ), as ADC and for support ( or if youre feeling aggressive).

But in mid lane you have quite a few options to choose from depending on situation and I never seem to really know what to take. My primary mid laner is , and ive run with just about every viable summoner imaginable at various points, but against certain opponents I don't know what to take.

For instance, against should I take to get out of his ult? Or just and try to avoid fighting him all together?

When is the right choice over or ?

I almost never run with mid lane anymore because I prefer to just farm and let my opponent make mistakes that will get me kills, but I feel like if I ever get to playing against more skilled opponents this strategy wont get me any kills and such a passive approach to lane isn't that great of a strategy.

Any insights are appreciated.
