Idk if its just me but to me its seems like Kayn is really bad now, I remember 3 months ago as Rhaast I healed a lot and I was able to get some good scores as Shadow Assassin I was able to 1 shot carries and thats why I was able to get good scores, but now I cant seem to do any of those, I cant seem to be good as Rhaast neither as Shadow, all my scores are bad and Im lvl 5 Kayn, before I got a lot of good scores but now I cant do it. Is that only me or Kayn is really bad right now?
Crimson Zeppelin2 votesI swear I used to do more damage on Shadow Kayn. You could have even built crazy stuff like shiv and sorcs boots on him and do more damage than current Kayn. i don't know what but something seems off.

theChibiTina1 votesI don't think he's overpowered, but he's not weak. I still watch my friend do some insane plays on him. Lol. He's also a good Kayn though. Kayn is a tough champ to play, but a good Kayn can be really good. A bad Kayn is really bad though because Kayn is so weak before transformation and you have to understand the different play styles between the different forms after. You should also have an idea what form to take before the match because even though assassin runes work alright on Rhaast, Rhaast runes don't work well on assassin. An okay Kayn player is hit or miss. They'll have good and bad games.
Edit: The rune nerfs might have weakened assassin kayn a bit though.

I do all of those things, like last game the enemy team didnt have a single tank so I went blue kayn, and I couldnt even 1 shot Ashe, she wasnt even fed, she was 4/5 I think, and Im not Kayn main but Im not bad at Kayn and 3 months ago I was op now I cant do anything
EDIT: Yes runes have been nerfed but even as Rhaast I dont heal that much until 40 mins

Last time anything was changed on him was a bonus AD ratio buff to blade's reach and umbral trespass in 8.6 and some balance on his passive points in 8.7 and before that the last change was in season 7. If he's feeling weaker it's either because of outside factors making him actually weaker or because you haven't played him in a while and are getting used to him again. It's possible to get rusty on a champ you haven't played lately. Not saying that's it, but it's a possibility. If we're talking only about Assassin though, it's likely because of the rune nerfs.

theChibiTina1 votesHe's getting one, but due to the fact that they're trying to lower burst damage it's only increased mobility on his E. They're increasing the duration and the bonus MS in assassin kayn form.
