Riot, Death Recap is sooo inaccurate. How? Spaghetti code in damage reports?

The death recap is NEVER useful ever. The % dmg is always wrong. I'll just highlight the last time i died, but honestly to recreate the bug just die ANYHOW ANYTIME with ANYONE in ANYWAY.

I was playing Tank Darius. I was full health with 4.8k health and died in about 5 seconds.

The recap says i died by 2k damage in 2 seconds.....

So besides the fact that you ignored 3k damage next you tell me that an Orianna auto attack was 5% of the damage.... Whaaaaaat?

You need someone to refactor the whole code that deals with damage counting... I'm guessing the system is a mess.

I think right now the death recap only takes into account the most recent 3 sources of damage taken from the most recent 3 champions/other assists. Other sources of damage are not accounted for during the percentage damage calculations.

AKA it is, in fact, completely useless.

And Riot isn't gonna do a thing about it.

The death recap is a piece of shit and it sucks that it is so terrible because it could totally be a super useful for improving how you play but nah instead I'm taking 40% hp from skuttle crab.

the amount of crazy things ive seen in death recap is well...crazy

death from clarity when nobody in game has clarity, let alone it being an offensive spell / deal damage

Death recap shows the total of all instances of something.

Also, for Kayle and Kog, their auto-attacks get lumped into Righteous Fury and Bio-Arcane Barrage respectively, so I wouldn't be surprised if Ori's auto-attacks are lumped into Clockwork Windup.

The 5% Orianna auto thing counts the total, but there's no way in hell she did that much unless you stood there for 10 seconds.

It's not even spaghetti code.

It's not like the code is poorly running. It's that the code is working exactly as intended, just they had no fucking clue how to design a damage recap system back in 2011.

Riot also has no shame despite their amazing pride, and has many shitty unupdated things that look prehistoric

Death recap absolutely HATES Zac's passive though.

die while in his passive and if the screen isn't all mashed together and unreadable its trying to tell me that I took 4k true damage from autos or 800 magic damage from exhaust.

Here's a thing: One guy looked at death recap and saw that FLASH (FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!) did 22% of the damage another guy got attacked by a blitz running thunderlord's, got hit only twice but death recap says thunderlord's proc'd and did 22% of the damage

Seriously, you get shown every individual tick of damage from the last six sources, not helpful against Lunara.
