So...with the add of kindred, tahm and bard not only a katarina player must be aware of the enemy cc but her team cc as well (Ive just got out of a game where my tahm just ate me everytime I ulted)......she feels really weak to play, her laning phase is non existing...you cannot farm without getting half of your life down (thanks to her hp+shunpo nerf)...and in tfs the amount of cc/mobility/utility the new champions have is really high....making it really difficult...almost impossible for a katarina to get a ult off.

Of course if you have a team with a really great lockdown (leona,amumu,sej,etc) or if the other team are a bunch of squishy champions with no hard cc...katarina shines....but thats not always the case.

I wonder if there is something going on for katarina?

While she might need some aspects of her looked, what you are pointing out right now is not her, but them. As in don't pick katarina into a heavy cc team. While she has clear weaknesses, she also has strengths that are very viable and if well used, are amazingly powerful. She's very dependant on the enemy team and your team's composition.

true!....still the nerfs on shunpo, hp, and ult, left her in a weak spot and playing against a lux for example (that katarina should eat her alive) is hard....hell even playing against a karthus have become a task.
