When I'm an ADC with an "initiator" support (thresh, Leona) I'll occasionally tell them to just call the shots. "If you ping I'll follow you" and just capitalize on their plays. That's supposed to be the idea anyway; you carry me, then I'll carry you.

Until you get the Blitzcrank that lands EVERY hook the second it's off cooldown. Sounds great right? It's not. From lv1 you're in a constant dual of trades and going back every minute and yea, enemy has 30 cs at ten minutes. But you also only have 55.

Pair that with Graves and wreck house if that Blitz is reliably getting grabs. The enemy normally may not take too much damage from a Buckshot, but when it now gets to be consistently in your face, it'll hurt like hell. Especially if he can get go back for a BF Sword first item with that magical Blitz.

Yeah, you have a lead. And you better have a kill lead as well if your Blitz is a baller. Not sure why you would complain. It's not even remotely rare to get a Blitz that lands 0 hooks during lane.

The problem I have with it is when it leads to an early midgame/laning phase is over. Yea I have 20 more cs and Maybe a kill or two (assuming they're playing an ADC that is slippery like trist, ez, vayne) so I couldn't fully capitalize on the grab; but I still do shit damage to the other enemies that got to farm properly.

Idk, maybe it's personal problem.

I main Blitz supp, and let me tell you that more often than not, when I land my hooks, my adc and i get plays done where we often come on top. Doesn't matter who the adc is, what their cs is, when I hook, we go in for the play. In the end, the opponents end up ff at 23-28 min mark, when I only have item 3069 , item 2049 , and item 3047 and my adc has 2-3 items (depends on who the adc is/ also depends on the items for that champ, such as having a bf sword and a item 1053 or something like that).

I once saw a video about bad supports using their initiations whenever they can rather than saving them for when they'll have the most impact, made me think. I've killed Blitz because he hooked me more times than I can count.

pretty much this.

If I ever have a leo, thresh, blitz, ali, etc, supp me as soon as I get in game I say to them "If you can engage, do it"

that way I'll cs for a while and then finally follow my supp as they dive in after the adc.

whats MOST annoying tho is when you're a 'hook supp' and there are too many minions. and your adc won't fucking push.

However, the communication/pings is important too. We've all been there:

Jinx : Whistles away, farming CS Thresh : Throws hook past Alistair, hits Graves, pulls himself in, dies 2 seconds later Thresh : щ(゜ロ゜щ) WHY U NO GO IN?! Jinx : - . - There is an Alistair in the way.

But overall I find much more success when I wait for the support to call the shots.

If only brittany venti read this. All she does on stream when she duo's bot. I'm totally carrying (as she was walks through enemy minion wave and tries to go into an auto fight with the enemy adc). Her duo partner: I just had to use my heal to save you so i hope your happy Brittany: I'm not happy cause now im at 2 bars of health. (Dies 1 minute later) Brittany: WHy didn;t you just hit them Duo PArtner: Cause i had 10 hp Britanny: See this shows im a better gamer cause i atleast was auto attacking

lesson learned: You're the support. You aren't supposed to be doing better than your carry. You're supposed to make sure your carry does better than them and does better than everyone else in the game.

When I can't land hooks every once in a while, my adc gets mad. But when i finally land that hook, they don't follow up.

ADCs shouldn't get mad if you miss a few hooks, but ever since one game as Mordekaiser, I'm just gonna get kind of pissy if you act like you hook is on a two minute cooldown but ignores creeps... Especially as a guy who actually enjoys playing Blitz Support on the side.

DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT THIS item 3401 IS!?!?! I'ts ok if you say no, you're probably a carry main and never seen it before but it gives you more gold.

It's even worse when I see people clear waves when I have four charges and even my ADC killing cannon minion to stop me from using FACE.

Why do people do that? Is it some sick trolling act that I'm unaware of?

Um.... what elo is that where people don't know what that item is? I've often had the opposite experience where supports don't use it correctly. Either missing the execute with Thresh or killing the weak caster minions instead of the cannon.

I only kill caster with relic shield in 2 scenarios:

The ADC is low and we need the health from the item ASAP
The ADC isn't letting me get the cannon and melees, so I have no other choice

I once had Vayne tell me to engage when I was leona and the enemy had a giant minion against us and it was only level 2. Got pissed at me when I told her that's a dumb idea. Then when I hit 6 and went full in and had their adc low and cc'd she didn't do anything.

Really hate adc mains/players

I had a Vayne the other day that got into a melee range auto-attack battle with the enemy alistar for a solid five seconds, no kiting or anything. I played a killer lane that game and got her monstrously fed somehow, but we couldn't get any objectives because she had all our gold and would back after every fight no matter how much health she had, how many of them were down, and how many times we pinged targets on turrets and dragons. In the end she had 33 kills, by far the most across both teams, and she couldn't carry an ant. Managed to tie for most deaths on the map as well.

when i supported i would run into this then i went to adc to try making a difference and as i grew into the role i had so many toxic supports and still get em. from the ones who bait you into a fight you cant win to the ones who take every kill and cs with the reason of fuck you that's why, wish i was exaggerating i deeply truly wish supports were as kind and sweet as the general community makes em out to be but in reality they aren't just like every lane they can be toxic af and just like a toxic adc they can ruin a game for there partner when adcs need to be carried before they can carry

This is too true. The other day I had a vayne that was the worst I've ever seen at csing. Literally missed atleast 2/3 of the minions each wave and had like 50 cs at the end of the game(around 25 mins). I just gave up and took most of the cs.

The saddest part about this was that in champ select, she said her game plan was to let her farm to late game...

I've had games where as Janna. I poked down the enemy adc to 20% hp on my own, then my adc goes all in on their support who is full hp, and dies, this is before items are rampant, and then proceeds to claim me, as Janna for her tower diving them and me not helping, when I was attacking the 20% adc and got it to 5% and forced a flash, meaning just one AA from my adc would have killed her...
