Why do all jungle tanks do magic damage?

If my entire team is magic damage, but we have no frontline I'm basically forced to play a bruiser like Rek'Sai or Kayn which is pretty sucky since they have no utility in their kit.

There's physical damage tank moves out there like Sejuani's W. Typically I think they make most tanks do magic damage because most damage is AD and it's harder to stack MR than armour, so it naturally keeps their damage a bit more relevant. That's my theory at least, same with supports all doing magic damage when they work alongside AD champions.

too bad she got nerfed when she isn't even lethal, meanwhile the brain dead meta champs remain strong or even buffed for retarded riot reasons

I can vouch for that ^^ Once was best jg tank in season 6, even got to M6 2/3 by the end of the season til nerfs (direct and proxy) brought her down...

Well, define "tank"; if we're talking tanky characters who run through the jungle, then you are neglecting MonkeyKing Volibear Trundle Skarner Olaf JarvanIV Hecarim , all have good tank builds and do good amounts of physical damage.

I mean the only tank on there with an actual tank build who isn't total crap right and has utility and/or cc in his kit is Skarner.

A mage as support (ex: Brand, Zyra), Mage in midlane, for example Kennen, Rumble, Singed, etc top, Kog, Varus or Corki bot.

I don't have this problem a lot but it just feels like there isn't a Maokai with physical damage for example.
