I've seen shen beat some aa champ badly, but now he super dumpstered by ap champs now lmao

Mid lane shen is legit.

You played one game with Shen, and your jungler steam rolled her not you. Left alone her ranged attack would melt you.

And yes that's why the games you know... a 5v5...not a 1v1 farming simulator.

And once I got a single magic resist item she could no longer touch me.

Because with shens e against squishy a gank is a guaranteed kill.

I saw shen beat an irelia pretty hard, everytime she activate W, shen activate W and win trade cause if irelia doesnt fight during that team, her W duration will be wasted. Not to mention Shen Q max is strong enough to win him that trade. Mostly if the Shen builds sunfire first, its over for irelia. And I main her lol... the old shen can beat irelia too though so it doesnt make a difference, the only difference is that irelia can NEVER beat him now haha, atleast before at 50 mins irelia can kill shen, it would jsut take over 30 s to do it

Again a bad player, Irelia's AA is longer than Shen's. She could stand one minion away and aa him and Shen cannot trade back.

No, both Shen and Irelia have 125 unit autos.

Shen's goes up to 200 when he Q's so he could try to out-range her, but 75 units would require some delicate footsies.

yeah lmao a platinum top laner maining irelia is bad lol, if you wanna try ill smoke you 1v1 anytime you want. I never said it would be impossible, but its much easier to kill now as shen (played that matchup already on the PBE)

You should probably learn what each champion does before you try to talk about how to balance them.

Both Shen and Irelia have 125 range AAs, and Shen's is boosted to 200 with Q.

Played 2 match ups today.

Vs Poppy (got 1st blood but then she started to win trades easily)

vs Riven (With old shen I used to nullify most of her burst with going all in E+W+Q and some AAs, now with the new shen its suicide dashing to riven LOL)

I honestly feel that Riot made him more Jungle/support oriented. He has NO sustain at all in lane like before. Its way easier to shove him away from lane. His trades are no longer safe as he cant regen and his shield and W is pretty much poop. Even AAs champions like Trynd or Jax can outrade him.

I've been playing Shen before and after the rework and here are some tips: (summoners: flash and teleport) Top lane: 1. since Shen cant trade too much play safe and farm under turret, you will lose cs but make sure you buy a money making item to make sure you wont fall too behind 2. use ur q for a gaining cs 3. once your opponent stretch too far into your turret punish them with ur e and combo (Q-W) this is very helpful against a riven and an Irelia (sometimes) 4. always remember that ur w doesn't block minions (except cannon) so dont engage too early 5. if ur jg is coming to gank dont waste ur e, instead stall him/her by walking up to her and just use ur q and w and when he/she runs too far thats when you taunt unfortunately im now on champ select so GLHF! :)
