So I checked what is being played for ADC on 8.12 in Korea

I checked na.op.gg/champions/statistics

There is a hell of a lot more champions than I expected. Checking the site listing 43 champions for ADC as of June 14, 2018

Wasn't surprised to see Quinn, Irelia, Yasuo, and Jayce.

Quinn is pretty strong, tried it before. Irelia can 1v2 pretty easy at one point. Jayce has huge harass in top, so why didn't people play him as an ADC before? Yasuo is Yasuo.

Thought mages would do fine before a few patches ago since they scale the same, but they would be outscaled by ADCs in late game, so better off playing it safe with ADC.(Annie, Brand, Swain, Vladimir, Veigar, Ziggs, Ryze) ADC changes made them a workable option.

Then there are people playing Aatrox, Cassopeia, Darius, Ekko, Jarvan IV, more Kayle, Kennen, Lulu, Mordekaiser, Pantheon, Renekton, Rengar, Volibear, and Wukong in ADC role. How did this come to be?

Kayle, Panethon, Mordekaiser, and Lulu have been there and done depsite recent changes. Mordekaiser wasn't played much, so no one knew.

This is only the first few days, so some will come and go.

Most likely to stay adc would probably be Irelia, since she has the mobility to go up against ranged champions and mages alike.

New Aatrox should be a prime candidate as well.
