His combo probably isn't as lethal anymore in bot lane I guess, but I don't know how this would fix things, maybe someone else can enlighten me.

Anyhow, I still don't get how I can play him mid anytime soon again. He is just a shadow of his former self.

It looks like a change back towards pre-rework. Aside from the low MS, those are definitely similar stats. They need to undo the attack range and MS nerfs they made to malzahar too.

It makes no difference at this point when you got champs like Twitch that can go invisible and Ult AA gain 300 range. All this pointless arguing over Malzahar when you got stupidity like that in the game... it makes no difference at all what they do to Malzahar.

AA champs that dish out 1000's of points of damage ever second... this game has gotten pointless and stupid.

Mid Lane:

While the lack of movement speed makes them less likely to be used against opposing champions... It doesn't say 300% versus minions only with Malefic Visions on them so... You can probably just use them to clear a wave if no one is around to kill the Voidlings.

You may also use the max stack summon to try and push towers when it starts to attack a cannon minion. However... I don't see an AD scaling on their attacks anymore so...

Bot lane:

Considering that Malzahar can summon multiple Voidlings at once for this iteration, enemy laners can probably choose to attack the Voidlings while taking champion damage or attack champions while taking Voidling damage... Assuming they actually fight and not run.

Too soon to say if this will work for Malz or not yet as reliable damage is still not buffed in favor of unreliable AI damage.

Until E gets a damage buff or R gets its flat damage back, Malzahar will probably still be played as a support in most cases... Because again Malzahar is down there in the first place to cover for his low kill damage via having an ADC deal it for him.

I used to play a ton of AD Malz. And this is just pathetic. 1 of the old voidlings is worth about 4 of these new little "swarmlings" (As of current)

Just read the full changes on Surrender@20. They have a 40% AD ratio.

One old voidling had a 1.0, which was buffed at 7 seconds to 1.5. And have more attacks.

Having 3 of those guys only gives a 1.2 ratio....

           ------------------------------------

Now about survivability. They will have reduced resistances and reduced HP(compared to previous rework).

With a Max of 200 HP at level 18, and a starting of 65, how are they supposed to deal damage when a stray spell topples them like bowling pins?! At these numbers I'd only be able to use them if my target was CC'd.

When I played him in the PBE when his rework was being made, I kept having my swarm of 4-6 guys dying to spells. So, fast. (I was also attempting to make AD Malz work, and then being shut down for 18 seconds sucked. )
