I feel like Neeko is half of a LeBlanc Rework.

I get it, I get it. You wanted the "trickster glass" mechanic implemented, and a new champion was a cool opportunity for it. I also like Neekos character. Her abilities scream the word Deception. Just by watching Neeko gameplay, I feel more skilled, smart and deceptive and tricky,

But I really don't know why you didn't realize the opportunity to craft these abilities into a LeBlanc rework. As LeBlanc I dash face forward into enemy faces and snap back while I root them with a chain with the length of the Chinese wall.

This isn't just an opportunity, that's not taken, it limits the pool of a possible LeBlanc rework to a minimum, and I think that's sad.

Neeko is what Lb is supposed to be. You never know who she truly is. She clones and clones..

I think it's a wasted opportunity, but I'm guessing they don't want to change LB because of how iconic her kit has been over the years and the negative player feedback it'd get if they did something wrong (cough Aatrox cough).

Which is a shame since she's one of the best characters in the game lore-wise.

the old leblanc kit isnt worth preserving they shoulda given Neekos kit to her (not that i dont like Neeko i love her look and theme)

i feel same way. I love what ive seen of this new champ but i look at the trailer and just think " but what if they just gave this to lb instead". riot knows lb's kit is problematic and fails to live up to her title as Deceiver.

I was just about to make this post.

Leblanc is a deceiver, and yet the only question you ask when you go up against her is why she does so much damage to you. It looks like Neeko lacks damage, but makes up for it with her utility and deception while Leblanc has mobility and damage, but no deception. Her theme's totally messed up.

Who knows, maybe a future lb could pretend to be minions/jg camps or something.

remember when that patch said they were trying to make her really a deceiver?

then we had a LeBranc that could wave clear, pop up squishies by staying around for 3 secs and spawn a clone that could be used as a screening shield*[slayer-jinx-wink]*

I think there is different potential for LB. Something like clones that are good and not the shitty ones she had in that one rework. But something that actually focuses on outplaying and outsmarting your opponents with clones.
