@Nasus Mains: How Do You Counter Akali Matchups?

I just got done playing a game against Akali top, and it was legit the hardest thing ever for me. 1 q of hers did 25% my health at level 3, at level 6 she could dive me under tower some how and just burst me.

What do you do to counter her or any hard matchup? Do you still rush Tri-Force, do you farm with E instead of getting stacks, or do you counter build and just sit under tower? I tried counter building and sitting under tower but i ended up very far behind in farm at the end of the game. Thanks!

Easy case mate. One of Akali's main details that lets her escape tons of damage is her shroud as she can dodge nearly anything and disengage if you try to do damage. The most counter effective strategy to this is to effectively negate her shroud so the match up becomes a skill match up instead. All you have to do is buy a pin....OH WAIT NEVERMIND FUCK YOU RIOT

item 3076 is a must by the time she gets her gunblade.

Other than that? rush kindlegem (health is effective against both ad/ap) and sit under turret and save for SV.

I think the problem is your rune page and the fact that you rushed a thornmail.

Yeah she does AD dmg on her E, but she's mostly AP. She will run our of energy if she Es too much.

Just go sheen/visage into triforce. With a bramble vest once she has gunblade.

The way you played it just looks insanely greedy. You probably should have put more points into your E early, and ran a rune page with MR.

I also think 5 points into meditation would have been better.

yet majority of her damage is AP

and you have natural armor and a typicall page would have armor seals.

so getting spirit visage would give you the mr you need vs her ap, the hp would make your armor runes and base armor more effective and havign the CDR and extra healing from spirit visage would help you sustain in lane and stack Qs

Depends of her build actually.

She can rush AD or AP for Hex, or rarely she can go Tank.

In any case it's a passive lane. Don't push stack Q and build defensive item.

You need a better rune page. For fighting Akali, your page should have MR seals, MR glyphs, and MR quints, and you should start with Null-Magic Mantle + 1 potion. You'll start the game with 88 MR and she will not be able to hurt you.

or ... AD marks, ARMOR QUINTS, HP SEALS and MR BLUES

which is a more useful page.

the hp helps making your armor and mr more effective and over makes you more tanky ...

and it would negate physical damage from lane minions and her autos and the ad damage she does

Wtf nasus vs akali is a free farm lane for nasus. Just dont let her proc Q and then your passive negates her q poke otherwise. You have no skillshots so you stack up and then fucking half health her if she tries to jump you later game. I mean if ur really struggling just rush spirit visage after sheen then finish tri force later

Yeah its free farm when youre unranked playing normals against other unranked players. Most unranked players dont even know how akali works.

I play dumb shit like chogath but then impose random weaknesses like building stoneplate last and taking smite no matter where I go. Problem? The smurf is just for fun and I only made it because original account banned on forums LUL

You dont out rank me in any way lol. I have 10 different accounts that are all in plat+ except 2. I have made it to plat 1 D3 mmr which you have yet to reach looking at how your tier graph goes from plat 1 to plat 3 to plat 2 to plat 3 to plat etc. And the only reason youre outranking this account is because I have been trying new builds on jayce the past like 6 days. Which brought my from Plat 1 to Plat 4/3. Check the tier graph if you dont believe me.

So your highest ever is plat 1? Congratulations, you're also clearly not a nasus main and dont know how easy ths mathcup actually is, as indicated by everyone telling you to just rush SV and ignore her and you scratching your headm wondering why thornmail rush isn't working.
