OTP - can someone explain?

Can someone explain why OTP's are tolerated?

Just this simple question. Why? I realize that with their champs they might to better than main or something, but why? If that champ gets picked or banned by others, that it, game over, the game is lost.

Why is this kind of behaviour tolerated? Why are people allowed to destroy the games of others just because they can't learn to pay more than 1 champ?

Can someone explain this to me? Because i simply can't get my head around this bullshit.

As posted above. There are several kinds of OTP

1 Special account with the intention to play nothing except that champ on it. They will dodge when that champ is banned due to it. Nothing wrong with that provided it isn't an often banned champion. 2: Normal account with extreme focus. Can play another champ if it comes to it, but will play several divisions lower in skill level due to it. Will dodge if given the option due to this. 3: Skumbags that play high banrate toxic champs like Draven, Vayne, Yasuo. Likely never learned more than 2 of these, and will skumbag ragefeed when both are banned. Will announce loudly that they are onetricks and it is your fault they are feeding.

Don't mistake 1 and 2 for 3.

They usually don't one trick champion that is often banned. Annie bot one tricks Annie, how often is Annie banned in solo Q? Heisendong mains heimer etc. People who say they one trick Yasuo and threaten to troll if the other team bans it are simply scumbags.

because its the only champ they find fun in this garbage ass game that goes through 1000000 changes. OTP are likely champs that rarely see buffs or nerfs.

They have the option to dodge...and most do. Although I must say most of them are scams and not true OTPs. Especially...yasuo "mains". Most of the OTPs play something that is rather unlikely to ban to solve this problem in the first place anyways.

It's one thing to be an OTP, it's another to be toxic or to not have a backup plan at all.

I think I am the classic OTP, I play Riven whenever I get toplane and Riven isn't banned, if she is picked I play Jayce. Then I got one champion for Mid/Jgl/ADC/Sup.
