He is like a shadow in the meta right now. As in, he performs extremely well and counters many of the major threats, but no spotlight has shined upon him yet. He can turn an opponent's Stoneplate against them by using R on them right as they pop it and Trundle has never been too vulnerable to AD burst damage. He's also really good at peeling away a Cho'Gath. Overall, I would say he is a worthy purchase in the current meta.

If you like the look of his kit and theme, and you think he'd be fun to play, you should get him.

I love using Trundle even when he isn't in the meta. Riot bringing back his tower bite was the best thing they could have done for him, so i've been playing the shit out of him like the old days before champion mastery.

Don't get him. Use your IP on a cooler champion.
