High level players in low level match ups
Title. Imbalances match. Their runes give their team an immediately huge advantage. Confuses newer players still attempting to learn game mechanics and how to play against other people's various champions. Going to post about this every time I see it happen. Had a game just a second ago that on the opposing team had a level 27 and a 24. We were all level 12 and 13. Needless to say we couldn't do diddly squat because they had better "greater" runes which made them too powerful to take on.
One was playing a class that I always trump in damage by just a bit. His runes made it so he would always win a 1v1. It's imbalanced and threw off our ability to fend them off. If they are using greater runes they not only need their greater runes disabled for the match but they also need their masteries nerfed to shorten the gap between their level and everyone elses. It's not a fair game because they have access to things that newer players do not have access to.
No, it's not good for training. No, it's not good for moral. No, there is no way that it is a fair concept. It needs stopped. Level 20+ players should never be in the same match as minus level 20 players. Greater runes are too big of an advantage.
THIS NEEDS FIXED.
Each time this happens it makes me turn the game off for the day. I literally don't even want to play another match for quite awhile because of it. It just makes the game feel off balance and unfair. It's not fun to play against people with such a major advantage. And yes, it is a MAJOR advantage. Sort of like playing an MMoFPS against an aimbotter. You get to the point where you don't even want to play the game. Eventually this issue may cause me to quit completely if it happens enough times before I even reach level 20.
I have a blast when I play a match where everyone is within 2 or 3 levels of mine. Even if I lose it's a hundred times more fun. When I get the games with people 9 or 10 levels beyond mine, not fun at all. You can't even learn anything from it because you can't go toe to toe. Heck, you can't even get grouped up and take them on. Those major runes are a major deal and then add in their extra mastery points and you don't stand a chance.
