Targon's Brace needs a Melee only beisde the name.

Why doesn't this have one already. The amount of stupid people who pick thresh then buy this thinking he is a MELEE when he is not is insane. Today had a thresh say this exact thing: I am melee 50% of the time...... WTF! How? like seriously how does someone come to that conclusion?

EDIT: For clarity Purpose: I have lost more CS to a thresh Failing at last hitting then I have not paying attention. The fact that thresh has an auto attack booster should mean it's easier to last hit then most champions who aren't melee and get that (for what ever reason that may be)

It does work for ranged champions, however the execute part is melee only. A ranged character dealing the killing blow will still activate it.

Sounds more like Thresh needs a marker informing people of his attack type.

although the execute minion only work for melee... the gold share and healing work for ranged too...

You can get the stacks from Targons Brace on Thresh though.

Its good because of the gold / sustain in lane, then come late game and you get super tanky + shield to allies.

With thresh passive E you can last hit minions for the execute gold. it just wont auto kill the minion.

If you're good at your last hitting game you can still use targons on thresh for the lane sustain and the hp it gives you. Early game it can make a huge difference and you can always swap it out to a talisman for better engage or just upgrade it all the way to give somebody in need a shield.

I think passive needs to be separated into 2 passive: the melee only execute and the heal+gold share.

Alternatively (additionally), Thresh could get a new basic attack animation that clearly shows that he is a ranged champion.

The fix could also be as simple as making a new pre-game tip.

I get Targe on thresh half the time, depending on the matchup. I just start with E so I get my passive, making it easier to last hit since a full tank thresh doesn't really have high base AD.
