so now that relic shield gives ap, can we please nerf the dmg of tank supports? just like old runes, where riot would have to balance champions remembering that people took extra stats from runes( +9 armor and other stats), now they have to take into consideration that these champions have a considerable boost in damage. for example, they nerfed the damage on blitz hook by 10 or something like that. blitz q has a 100% ap ratio, so even if the item only gives 40 ap, its still 40 more damage on the hook, plus another 40 on the ult. 80 extra damage on a support is a lot of damage, especially with how snowbally the game is and with how much damage there already is.

I would prefer nerfing one champion instead of nerfing an item line that gives 5 or 10 ap, cause you're not always going to reach 40 ap, and 5 or 10 extra AP is shit. Do you see tank supports sacrificing armor runes for adaptive ap? No, of course not. They'd prefer to have more armor but Riot won't give us a tank relic shield.
