To people who ban new champs in Normals

How do you expect people to know how to play newer champs in Ranked if they don't play them at all? That's like an employer asking you have 30 years of experience in the field when you're only 20 years old. In other words, it doesn't make sense to do this. People need to understand how a champion works in a real-game scenario without being punished for losing. This is what Normals exist for.

Sincerely, Someone who's trying to pick up Rakan.

There are plenty of non-PVP ways to learn how to play a champ.

Ruining 9 other peoples' games is not the answer. Especially in Ranked.

Go to blind pick normals... Draft is for ppl who hate rank but still want to ban champions they hate playing against.

Personally, I'd prefer not seeing the same champion every single game.

If I have to ban the new champion to see any variety, I will do so (barring higher priority bans such as Ivern and Lee Sin).

Also, the new champions are generally unknown factors. People don't know how they work, how to play them, how to play against them, how to build them or their general state of balance.

If other players want to be involved in the experimentation, that is fine.

However, I'd rather not be involved; I learn quickly enough from watching other people play, so I'll wait until some content creators have released gameplay videos.

I believe that new champions should be disabled in ranked for the patch following their release.

If they ban the new champ and I happen to want to play them, I just go out of my way to pick my best champ and shit stomp them, lol. They should have let me play someone I was new at, huh?

Practice Tool - it's a thing, use it. There's also custom games and bots.

Sorry, I'm not particularly interested in watching you feed and have a frustrating 20 minutes wasted just so you can learn something that is easily obtained by utilizing the tools above.
