But then I remembered he isnt super useful anymore we ended up losin that game because I dont do damage and I have no hard cc unless by some miracle I knock someone back with my ult.

The Shuriman Shuffle is VERY difficult to pull off now because they can just walk away from it entirely. So it isn't a matter of being good or bad with Azir, it's a matter of the combo just not having any synergy with itself anymore.

Think of it like Alistar's E > Q Combo it DOES need skill to pull off.

You're not understanding. Even if you pull it off you don't have the damage to make it effective. Pulling it off is EXTREMELY difficult. Not hard, like Alistar, extremely difficult. And unlike Alistar, who has an ult that can basically make him invulnerable, Azir gets one shotted by any assassin in the game. It's bull crap.
