How do you win ranked games where you're not able to depend on teammates

https://lildensi.s-ul.eu/Rqp9Iqae First Game: Ryze Support leaving his ADC at level 2 after flashing into the enemies level 1

Second Game: enemy jungler being only bot lane to get a lead while our jungler camped top lane (who was useless in the end who would've thought) and went full ad instead of being our only tank

Third Game: Kindred Top dying constantly and Support left me after he had Boots of Mobility

Fourth Game: Again, no Tank and Vi constantly dying

Fifth Game: I don't know I think the enemies were just better

Sixth Game: Renekton Support was very useless

The enemies always had good team comp and teamplay while I sometimes thought that I was in Bronze with my team

I honestly don't know what to play anymore, one person just destroys the whole game when I do alright

If you have any stratagies on how to climb then please tell me, I am desperate at this point

Hey there! I'm a high plat / low diamond support main who has climbed exclusively THROUGH the support role in the seasons. I'll offer some advice:

1.) When I checked your match history, the very first thing that sticks out is your deaths per game. This is the 2nd most important statistic in the game if your trying to win and/or climb (The first being your CS score.) I'd highly reccomend you focus your play towards being safer, and dying less. You should shoot for 5 deaths per game, if possible. (Take a minute and scope out my match history)

2.) Feeders gunna feed - there isn't anything you can really do to stop it, so my 2nd piece of advice is this: Focus on what you can control. That's basically your play and your tilt. Don't let them tilt you. As a followup here - because matchmaking this year has been so wonky, its more important than ever to pick champions who can CARRY the game. I'd suggest avoiding champions that tend to fall off come late game.

3.) Champions in league take many, many games to master and I don't care what anyone says, you can play literally hundreds of games and still find new situations to find yourself in as a given champion. You need to MASTER a champion, rather than trying to counter pick your opponent. Counter picking isn't that critical until platinum levels anyway - and even through half of gold, you can carry with just about any champion in any role if you know what your doing.

4.) Last piece of advice since im on short time today: Pay attention to who is fed, and who is weak in your game. This is true of your team, but especially important for the enemy team - you ALWAYS want to know who is strong. This gives you a much better insight into if you should engage or not come teamfight time. If you don't know how strong the enemy team is, you can't scale your play accordingly. It's VITAL that you understand who is fed and who is feeding on BOTH teams.

Theres tons more advice i could give, but im about out of time :D I want to do a video series. Maybe someday :D goodluck out there!

You need to thank community players Community players often say If you can't solo carry, You do not deserve to win.

Because most community players agree that there is no problem The problem is just your own Your MMR Your skills

So RIOT can't find any reason to improve.

But I want you to know I understand and sympathize with you*[sg-zephyr]*

You gotta get good at like, 2-3 dudes in your chosen roles, and get good on at least 2-3 supports for auto fill. I find that if I don't play the dudes I'm really good at, it's going to be tough. I'm confident I can carry on my mains, even with a couple mouth breathers.

So get good on at least 2-3. People will ban your mains (or may pick them first), you'll want to have a backup.

I mainly jungle, which gives me pretty fair control over the flow of the game and lets me dictate if I need to feed the competent laners I get, or mainly give assists to my not-so-competent ones and I take the kill so I can carry. Which is one of the reasons why I like to jungle, I can determine if I need to be the one dragging people by the nose, or if I can trust folks with the big money.

League is all about trust, and once trust is lost, it's difficult to get back. So start off trusting your team, which is the best advice I can give. If they prove to be less than trustful, by all means, take the reins and put a feed bag on them.

You don't. Duo que with a reliable friend, and pick champs that synergize together to carry teamfights.

Matchmaking is designed to float u around 48-52% winrate regardless of your skill level.

Example: Shen top, Hecarim Jungle. Hecarim starts E charging to bot lane, Shen ults him before he arrives, so that Shen is immediately in the fight upon Hecarims arrival. Theres nothing to do, you just double killed their bot lane, took the tower and drag.

THis is just one example, there are a lot of duo champ combinations you can exploit to snowball your terrible teammates.

You don't. Welcome to my world. Just last night as a Silver 2, I get placed with all Gold 3's. So I wreck as usual, 6 kills on me, 6 on top, mid and bot got ganks and like 4 or 5 assists. I rotate around, 15min, and tab. Top and me have 6 0 4 and mid and bot have 0 6 2. I just sigh to myself and know I got another insta loss. It seems like not everyone experiences having legit bad majority players on their team though. I theorize, if you are pretty good but not super good, far above average but not good enough to just wreck solo. The game reads your stats and they fall in just the right spot to put you with many bad win % champs thinking it is balancing the teams, thus keeping you from climbing. You get stuck in a weird troll limbo hell. At least that is my theory.

Big reason why I don't go near ranked often.
