real talk, why is poppy's win rate so low?

she has alot going for her, good dmg if you get the stun on her e or land both hits of your q. her w just shuts down alot of champs kits entirely (most notably Riven and LeeSin ) and gives her a ms buff for an easier time positioning for your e and escaping ganks her e is a great cc on a short cd if you have some cdr witch isn't at all a problem for bruisers/tanks because item 3071 item 3078 and her ult can make as much impact on a teamfight as a ult form Braum if you use it properly....

Remember too she's been out for all of what? 4 days? 5 days? There's so many people that just don't know how to properly play her yet. I love her...loved her before rework and love her still. I am getting better with her slowly but definitely wouldn't consider myself great with her yet.

Give her some time. I think she will raise up a bit though I wouldn't be surprised if she stayed pretty low to average

Pretty sure it's a science fact that 35% of Poppy players are whiffing ults by trying to charge to full when the situation calls for a simple instant-cast knockup.

Poor late game scaling, an ult that's tricky to use and doesn't do much damage, some really bad matchups top.

Her new w is nice, but the move speed now isn't very good. Poppy used to use that to set up her e and it doesn't last as long now.

New Poppy's damage is horrible, her utility is hard to use (both W and R), and she isn't durable unless built tank.

They're doing some good changes, upping her E's range by a lot should help her as a ganking jungler, but she probably needs a pass on AD scaling or attack speed/level to up her damage a bit.

Currently New Poppy is WORSE than Old Poppy since she lost her carry potential and gained hard to use utility.

Actually I have been playing nothing BUT Poppy and i have been winning most of my games.

People are just still figuring her out is all.

Look the scalings of Riven and LeeSin . Poppy is has short range dash and some ms boost, kit made for peeling and low scaling. This patch is ADC centric - you can see 1 adc bot, 1 jungle (Quinn and Kindred mostly), 1 top or mid. She dies before she can reach anyone. Also you can't peel for your team cuz the enemies are ranged...

her winrate in the jungle for people who have played her for more than 125 games is 59%.

her winrate as a laner is abysmal for completely new and experienced players. (mind you, that even being released for only a week, there are already people who have played tons of games with ehr and gotten used to her kit).

so she does seem to do fine as a jungler. unless championgg derped and didnt reset her statistics with her rework.

You state her abilities but don't go any deeper.

The reason her winrate is so low is because of her poor scaling on her abilities. Her ultimate can also hurt your team instead of helping. And her late-game atm is terrible. She needs to go full tank in order to stay in teamfights, but even then she still gets blown up.

Cause she is a TANK. All real tanks have shit win rates when played in the top lane.

Their is 0 support from riot for tank in this game, just to avoid any confusion juggernauts are not tanks. The idea of a tank is to control the enemy with CC but not do enough damage to kill. This becomes a problem when riot wants fights to end so damage > tankiness.

Riot has to address what tank actual role is and how they can be built to have lethal threat as a CC. Cause all you are doing as a tank is hoping your team will come through for you.

So riot will either bumper into a juggernaut or let her rot with all the other tanks.

Sadly i am Tank player so i know the pain.
