im the only one not already raging in champ select.... why would i ever consider wasting 30mins and 20lp when i can dodge, sit out for 5mins and only lose 3lp? seriously thats not even a decision
The second time you dodge it takes like 15-20 minutes to requeue. But you're right. Dodging queues have a low punishment and it can be useful from time to time.
Remove all punishment and people will leave just because they didn't get first pick or their champion was banned. That would drastically increase queue times to the point that you wouldn't even bother playing; ranked can not have a free ticket to dodge for any reason.
yes, you can climb up faster if you wait for the 3lp penalty to reset every day, and dodge whenever you get shit picks on your team.
good thing riot made people think lp is worth anything, any person with common sense would just dodge, doesn't affect mmr.
I dodge every day. It's a no brainer. Wish it was just five minutes and not the -3lp though. Couple times iv got to you know like 98 lp and I think "that fucking dodge yesterday" you don't get 116 when you have 98 lol.
Dodging actually do cost you nothing. 3LP doesn't matter since it doesn't change your mmr. About 33 games later you'll have been rounded the exact same LP as though you didn't dodge so it really just tricks you into thinking you're slightly lower than you really are for a while.
