2016 Provisionals

Take a look at my 6 recent games on the right side of the screen. I went 6-0 in my last 6 provisional games and had a kda of 20.80 average for those games. I ended last season in silver 2 but during preason I got to gold 3. Starting this season I've played all 10 provisionals and won 8 of them hence going 8-2. With 6 games that have a kda of 20.8 and getting gold 3 during preseason (along with my worst game being a 2-7 xin game) can someone explain how I was placed silver 4? I was thinking at least silver 2 maybe even silver 1. I just want to know how the game decides your rank because if these stats only got me s4 then what does it take to start s1. I'm ok with it because I know i'll carry back, but now it'll take a week or two longer than it would've lol. I just want some clarification on how it's decided.
