So matchmaking is still broken.

This is probably my 10th post about Riot's matchmaking, and it's really getting old...

How is the honor update suppose to make the game more enjoyable when you have matchmaking like this? Enemy team gets all gold 4 + players, and I get a silver 1 mid laner, and an unranked jungler who was silver last season? At first I thought I'd carry this game, because I went 3-0 in lane, but my support was a child who felt like int'ing. He gave up first blood, then we had a small comeback where I ended up 3-0... but the team score was 3-12 or some such garbage... as expected our unranked jungler played very poorly, and our silver mid (who was plat last season, I assume from boosting) fed the enemy ahri and then left the game. Also our top laner teemo ended the game 1-5.

My support gave up first blood even though I had warded the river around 2:30 (because he wasn't warding for some reason) and then when we saw the jungler on the ward my support ran toward the river.... to me this is int'ing.... he saw their jungler and ran toward him as I was backing off... and it's not like their bot lane was low or we were in any way in a position to turn the gank... he just ran into their jungler and died. It seemed like it was on purpose...

How am I suppose to stay positive in situations like this? We were trying to defend our inhib turret mid, and my support just stands out in front begging to get hooked, and he does... backs off because he gets chunked to 100 hp, and then runs straight at jhin who has his fourth shot ready to go... just gives him the kill.... all I can do is shake my head.. makes no sense to me why these people play ranked at all...

If Riot really wants to improve the attitudes of players they don't need to dangle keys and loot they need to fix matchmaking so that games are as even as possible.

Games like this my skill does not matter in the slightest... it was an auto loss because of matchmaking. I got 4 jackasses on my team who did nothing but feed, and they made it impossible for me to have any impact on the game. This gives me a bad attitude, and I'm more likely as a result flame my teammates in future games because of it.

I try very, very hard to stay positive mentally and with my score... but there's only so much BS like this I can take. If Riot's matchmaking is going to set my team up for failure there is no point in me playing ranked at all. Games like this last one are unacceptable.... they should never happen. Or at least I should be given an option to opt out once it's blatantly clear there's a mismatch between teams. I'm trying to climb the ranks and that's literally impossible with teams like this...

I'm really getting to the end of my rope here... I'm sick and tired of Riot's matchmaking.

The two teams had very close MMR, it isn't a matchmaking problem but a problem with the ranking system itself. As long as the system ranks players solely off of win/loss and no personal performance whatsoever, you will have mismatched players at the same rank.

Next game mid laner asks to play adc, which I declined, and then they pick vayne mid... so I had to dodge... now I have to wait 5 minutes to get in que again because some jackass wanted to lose us the game in champ select. FUN TIMES RIOT! I don't know if this is just because school is out and kids love to ruin games or what but this is ridiculous....

I'd like to refund every last damned penny I've spent on this game.

I agree completely, seems silly to implement an honor system when matchmaking ensures that many if not of your games will be pretty imbalanced. It is the biggest problem for toxicity, what is a silver to do after getting pummeled by a high gold/plat player? It is a problem for its legitimacy as a sport. Can you imagine if chess had matchmaking as uneven as league? It is just a huge problem. This isn't even getting into norms/aram mmr which basically destroys the quality of the games. Silver players do not want to play with high gold/plat, period end of story.

Annnnd another uneven game where people had roughly the same ranks in gold... jungle mid and support were feeding all game... could not stop them. I end up going 3-1-3 but it doesn't matter because the enemy team has control of the entire map and my teammates have generously given the enemy adc 7 kills. We can't get any turrets, they get our entire jungle... all the objectives... dragons, rift herald, baron... etc...

This game is so far from fun anymore. Far too many games were my teammates are the biggest obstacle to my team's success.

My top laner last game ran an experience quint, and still got out leveled by the enemy top laner... jungler went 1-6. support went 1-7. mid was 1-4...

This game is inanely frustrating.

At one point we got in a fight bot lane, our mid ori is about to die and lulu ults me. I was way too far away from ori for it to be a misclick either, so my support sees the mid laner dying, and ults me while I'm full health... support kept dying in lane and around the map with summs and their ult up..... Like... I feel like there's a conspiracy to make me toxic in this game. Why am I marked as the bad guy for pointing out stupid things people do? It's not like I'm telling people to kill themselves either... I just want them to know what they're doing wrong because it seems obvious that they don't know any better.

Matchmaking has nothing to do with rank, rather, its determined by your mmr. Those golds probably have pretty low mmr for their rank.
