Honestly, what is with people in this game?

I came back to this game after an 8 month break because of "toxic players" aka children. Everything is going gravy the first few days. Bronze 3 to bronze 1. Then I get a shit storm of children and go back to bronze 3. People leaving the game because they give up first blood. People going afk because the other team took a tower when we had 3 down, saying "gg team throw. afk." Why do people give up so god damn easily in this game? As soon as there is ANY adversity they just go afk and blame the team.

I honestly think the report system should be more harsh because people get away with this shit every game and nothing happens to them. make them get a 48 hour ranked ban. if they get reported it keeps going up and up and up.
