Maximizing Trynd Jungle build

Hello,

I've been jungling Tryndamere (and using Morgana mid as a backup) to climb through Silver. Silver V and IV are pretty easy, Trynd is pretty cheese and gets kills easily and has nice survivability even when teamfights are going badly (and the splitpush is amazing for when shtf). However, starting to hit harder matchups in Silver III. I think optimizing my build would be the best thing I can do right now, and then later on I can improve my overall gameplay.

I'd also love to see some math for optimizing the build if anyone is so inclined :)

=================================================

Here's what I've already learned:

  • Stalker's Blade - Bloodrazor is better than Stalker's Blade - Warrior near always on Trynd. I used to go warrior because I switched over from jungling Wu Kong, but the new Bloodrazor is just perfect and once I have that and nothing else I can solo dragon with Trynd at any time.

  • Statikk Shiv gives him the biggest boost in fighting and waveclear ability. Literally nothing else I've tried has come close.

So those and tier 1 boots are my first items. From there I've been playing around with different items but unsure of what's the best to get. I used to get Infinity Edge right away after that for "MOAR BIGGER CRITS!!!11" but tbh I've found it pretty lackluster and at the point I can get it what Trynd seems to want most is survivability. So I started building into The Bloodthirster and that's been giving me pretty good results. Although I'm not sure if this is ideal or optimized.

Runes and masteries:

Masteries I go 12/0/18 getting Perserverance and Strength of the Ages in Resolve and Oppressor in Cunning. Trynd is just absolutely too weak bodied to do anything else than Strength of the Ages, even Warlord's Bloodlust (which isn't as great in practice as it sounds like it would be for Trynd). I'm not sure if there's anything better here. Maybe switch from Ferocity tree to Cunning tree for Runic Affinity? Blue is useless for me and always goes to my mid and red after first clear near always goes to my adc or top laner.

Runes I've had different successes and failures with. I first started with your typical "ADC" runeset of armor, flat damage, and scaling magic resist. However, I then started experimenting with crit runes. I am really loving the crit damage runes, especially for the level 2-3 cheese ganks on mid/top, but one thing I've noticed is they've really gimped Trynd's crit damage from previous seasons.

Before with IE and crit runes it was easy for Trynd to reach 1200+ crits. Now I'm struggling to get to 800-900 in a game and I constantly see ADC's with similar damage and IE and no crit damage runes critting for 1300+. So not sure what went wrong here.

I just finished buying a set of crit % runes but I also have lifesteal, armor pen, flat damage, and other stuff like defense and CDR I can mess with. Not really sure where to go here. Everyone used to tell me go straight attack speed runes but I haven't found them to be that great to be honest. Maybe I'm missing something.
