If they nerf Frozen Mallet...

What the hell are adc's and champs without a lot of "stick" going to do about Singed? Currently this item is the only thing really holding him back.

Too many times in lower elos I've had to grab FM on an ADC or something like Warwick or Trynd because nobody could stop Singed and this was the only way to recover from his incessant backdooring.

They'll just gut singed again if he sees more than 2% pick rate.

Hmm... a phage item so you gain MS instead of slowing his?

IBG for the slow on auto after using an ability.

Or allied peel (e.g. Frost Queen's Claim to slow him, or allies using abilities, etc...).

Or they could just still build Frozen Mallet in those niche games. IIRC the nerf is just 5 less AD for 50 more HP? I remember reading it and thinking it was unwarranted, but perhaps something has shown up with it synergizing somewhere. Gnar is getting nerfed as well and he typically builds it so I feel like that is overkill on him, but I don't really know.

Proxy Singed was a true terror a while ago. They "nerfed" it with the kill gold changes but I still see a lot of proxy Singed and he's one of those split push champions you have to have multiple people to stop unless you're really fed... or have Frozen Mallet on any attack speed champ, which ruins his movespeed boost since it's being applied constantly.

You'd have to see it work in-game to understand I guess.

But what I'm saying is Frozen Mallet is what makes Proxy Singed handle-able is all. Phage doesn't really help all that much because at his speed he's able to control the poison stream, therefore controlling your movement. By slowing him down not only are you able to keep him within killing distance you are able to control where he puts the poison somewhat more than if he was just freerunning.
