9 YEARS, 9 years, we still dont get out LP back if someone leaves midgame, after the remake window. Let me elaborate.

Last game i had a singed who traded 1v1 with Irelia first kills, then she killed him again, and he went afk for the next 15 minutes, now i was playing kassadin surviving in lane with swain farming where i could, botlane going even and so on. But since this guy left we lost the game immediately and we tried to hold on but it was futile. So when will we actually start getting our LP back Riot?

Isn't it obvious on why it's not going to be added?

Here's the obvious answer: It will be abused to oblivion. At this point nobody will lose LP and for all we know, a way will be found to become Diamond+ or so.

It would be quite easily abusable if no one lost LP cause of an AFK player.

Yeah sure reward players for flaming/trolling/abusing their teammates into leaving the game, great idea.

I think if asked to implement a system like this they'd just respond with. "sorry we tested this in 2014 in a focus group of people that we hired to say what we want and we paid them to say that this is not what they want so we are doing what the focus group said and they said they didn't like how the game would be if you got some spare change back on the cancer losses, so no can do!"

punish every player that leaves the game (and his premade) with double lp loss and a leaverbuster how can that be abused? who would leave a game and lose more lp and also get a leaverbuster just so his team doesnt lose lp?
