Why is the legacy cursor being removed?

Seriously, I can't keep track of the new one, it is too bright and in the middle of teamfights it always gets lost, I also hate the way it looks, it looks like a white MiG plane and tbh I really, really love my Bronzegauntlet Fingerfist that was with us since alpha. Please, let us atleast have a choice in this.

or they could.... you know... let you use any cursor already included on your OS.. including the gauntlet

I still use the legacy cursor for specific reason. I've been playing since 2012 and it is my comfort and preference. If what you say is true, this will ruin me for a while until I get used to this weird plain, bland, boring, non-attractive enlarged Windows desktop cursor....

The finger is extremely useful for knowing where you are clicking, far more accurately for me than the blocky arrow-style mouse cursor. Please don't remove this option.

I don't get this at ALL.. It's literally a +/- 50 x 30 bitmap image that takes up an extraordinarily itty-bitty amount of space both on-screen and data wise... Why haven't they been more open to different pointer options?

Let us keep the original bronze gauntlet

Give us a gunmetal gauntlet option and invest precious $(literally single dollars) into more pointer options

Get rid of this pointy 'ole starwars arrowhead bs

Profit

New cursor is literally designed to not get lost nearly as much as the old one. Old one is far worse in that regard, no contest.

And likely reason for removal would be old dated tech getting in the way with how it needs to be rigged to work.
