Should players be required to show champ

Title explains it but I'll go a bit more in depth. So often a person doesn't show their main during champ select and it ends up being something that gets banned away. Obviously a lot of people play more than 1 thing and are waiting to counterpick, this doesn't really apply to them. Even so I'm willing to bet that everyday a number of people get tilted by having their champ banned by a teammate.

Some ppl do not wish to show champ to avoid troll bans.

How common are troll bans really though?

It's been pretty shitty the last few weeks. If I have a champ picked and the enemy bans it then some times I'll have my backup picks also banned by my own team because it wasnt what I had picked, which is fair.

So then I've gone to type out as soon as we get into lobby "Going to be Hec, Vi or Graves depending on comp" and my own team often bans one or two of them either with the excuse "you didnt have that champ selected" or "I'd rather not risk them getting that champ". Ive even had that excuse of rather not having the enemy get that champ because I'm lower down in the pick order so they ban me out anyways. Fucking stupid

I can say that it happens but not always, but it does happen.

Apologies for "chooz" in the poll, there was a character limit.

I am both ways.

I dislike when teams don't show champ so I can pick AP/AD/Tankier/etc.

But if someone dodges, I will almost always try to ban one of the shown champs from my teammates. Which means I don't like showing my champ...

My solution is that if someone dodges I just drop queue and re-queue. Easier than having my main banned from me, lol.

I dont think this should be a must. I saw a bunch of people that just banned a declared champion which leads to the one wanting to play it trolling or afking. It would definetly help to know what others want to play , esp for the bot laners but I never had a problem with that, I just asked the adc what he intends to play or if I ban , if my choice is okay for everyone.
