Tell me an easy midlaner that still destroys
the first one i think of is fizz. how hard is he to master? as far as i know w+q with lichbane = goodbye adcs.
other not so hard midlaners that destroy?

LB, Kat, Annie, Viktor, Vel'koz, Talon, Zed, Yasuo (steep learning curve, but easy once you figure him out), Malzahar, and so on. All pretty simplistic and boring, but all absurdly strong. (Vel'koz less so for both, but he's a very safe pick, so you can learn him easily)

Only annie on that list is easy and boring.velkoz is not safe pick ,he is opposite of it. Reason he aint popular is that he is very risky pick due to not having any escapes, and even his knockup is easily dodged. Once he uses flash next 5 mins he will feed if jungler camps him
Annie is the easiest and most boring, sure, but not the only one who's easy and boring. Only Viktor, Vel'koz and Yasuo aren't totally braindead on that list, but the rest could be played by a toddler or a monkey.

Lemme guess bronze or silver? Cause only low elo can tgink that champs like zed or kata or talon are easy and boring. You probably also think that illaoi is strongest top laner in history of lol and that riven has no counterplay.
Or, maybe, I've played nearly every champion in the game and can do very well with said champions with no prior experience on them - ergo, they must be easy!
Illaoi's biggest counter is moving, so no, she's not that strong. I think the strongest tops right now are probably Nasus and Trundle. Everyone whines about Ekko, but he's pathetic if you know how he works. A GOOD Riven has no counterplay, short of going nowhere near her and having CC out the ass.

Oh right, you're the "high elo players and pros aren't actually the best players, just the most popular ones" guy.
How's being silver v with a negative win rate? Still think you know better than people who consistently hit challenger?
Also, lol@Nasus.
No, Ekko is certainly the strongest top laner in the game.
First off, if you think Ekko is the strongest top, that's just sad. His kit is 100% skillshots and easily readable attacks / mechanics, and is full of counterplay. If you can't figure that out, then who are you to say anything negative?
See, I've watched LC$ games, and they're no better than bronze players -- they just have teams full of CC, and know how to actually work as a team. They make the same, stupid mistakes I see every day in low silver. I'd like to see any of them climb to challenger using a champ like Ori, Sol, Bard, ASSASSIN Ekko or any other champion that requires more brainpower than clicking on someone, and has viable counterplay. To date, I've never seen one do that.
lmao...thats why I hope they make a requirement for people to be atleast Gold (or Plat since gold is easy to get too) in order to comment in the balance section.
That or at least make it so people use actual knowledge and have brains to do it.
Im probably just another Bronze-Silver player but at least I don't act like I am a bloody god and I can do no wrong like it seems a lot of people in this cesspool seem to think.

"Challenger players only climb due to using broken champs with no viable counterplay, Ekko has lots of viable counterplay and is used by challenger players".
How foolish, you don't even realize how you've contradicted yourself. You're too bad at the game to get to challenger no matter what you do. Some of your most-played champions are Jhin, Graves, and Poppy, all champions who were very recently or still are highly favored picks in very high elo play. So why then can't you climb to challenger using the same champions the challenger players use?
The answer is obvious. It's because they are much better at you at the game. Your stats make it painfully obvious. Your KDA for your mains is okay, but your CS is mediocre to low, and that's by silver v standards. By challenger standards? Laughable.
Get over yourself. You're not some special snowflake with a deep understanding of the game that outstrips even the highest elo players. You're just another ignorant silver player with delusions of grandeur.
"Challenger players are just as bad as bronzies, and make the same stupid mistakes" -- like playing right into Ekko's strengths.
Look, if you're going to get all bent out of shape because I called you out on thinking painfully simplistic champs are hard, and losing to Ekko, fine. But throwing a tantrum is just silly.
Again, show me one challenger player who plays a champ that requires actual thought and effort, and I'll believe they can actually do things. Until then, they're just popular money makers who exploit whatever Riot fucks up in groups of 5.

You're not following.
If Ekko is so easy to counterplay but Challenger players are so bad they can't, why wouldn't the same be true of a champion like Bard (who is played in challenger you fool) or Sol (once again, he is played in challenger)?
I've never lost to tank Ekko, mostly because I've never actually seen one because he's permabanned. If you wish to play that game I could laugh at you for apparently getting ass stomped by Nasus (Trundle's really good top lane right now though), but that's beside the point.
Challenger players do not, in fact, make the same mistakes as bronzies, or rather, they don't make them nearly as consistently. LCS games can go for twenty minutes without a single kill. I can't recall a single game I've played where that was the case.
Why are you the arbiter of champs that require thought and effort? You're bad, incapable of maintaining a positive win rate with a very strong ADC like Jhin.
Also, you cowardly backed away from addressing the fact that you use the same champions challenger players use, yet you're incapable of climbing to challenger yourself, or even to gold.
Why do you think that is?
Anyway, for your question:
http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/1496#profile
Valkrin is mostly play Vel'koz (and Poppy, who I know you play and have defended), and has good win rates with distinctly non-meta champions like Karthus (or does he not have enough counterplay? =( ).
http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/diamond
Furthermore, as you can see, Bard is a very popular champion in diamond+.
http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/442232
He is Aphromoo's most played champion.
What other champions have you arbitrarily decided are the ones that require actual thought and effort?
If Bard and Sol are causing problems in challenger, then that just further solidifies everything I say about how ranking is largely irrelevant, and skill isn't a thing even at the highest tier. Anyone can play a braindead champ and just overpower people, but if they have to actually pay attention to things and outplay people, they throw a tantrum calling something OP, or just flat out lose. That's how it is in bronze, and seemingly how it is in challenger. And that's why Tankko is such an issue -- whiners can't figure out that everything he does is very, very predictable and telegraphed.
As for Nasus, please, do tell me how I can kill someone who can stack resists to the point that he can just ignore me and farm away, then turn on me whenever he feels like it and two shot me with targeted bullshit. Best I can do is harass him before his first back and then just roam.
Challenger players do, in fact, make the same mistakes bronzies would make -- and frequently, too.
See, here's the thing: In a team-based game, your individual performance doesn't really mean a whole lot if you don't have a team to back you up. If my team feeds and I'm just doing okay, then I lose. If they all feed me, and my team isn't feeding, then yeah, I can carry. Your winrate in this game is maybe 5% individual skill, 50% team comp, 30% how absurd your champ is, and 15% build. Sure, I can play the champs that challengers do, but I don't have the teams that they do. I have to play in "Solo" queue with a bunch of morons who really shouldn't even be playing ranked against bullshit like Yi, LB, Kat, assassins in general and Xin that require a team effort to shut down -- which doesn't exist in low silver.
And any champ who can't just click on someone and instantly delete them requires a bit of thought and effort. So ADCs aren't included in this, nor is an AS champ like Yi or Jax, nor is LB / Annie / Kat, nor is any assassin. Champs like Ori, Bard (and doing GOOD, not just spamming CC), Sol (again, doing good, not just poking), glass Ekko, non-blue Ez (you know, how he's supposed to be built), Teemo (despite the simplicity of his kit, you can't just click on people and win), Poppy to an extent if you're not tanky, Gnar, GP (not just his ult), Jayce, glass Lee Sin, Shaco (not just killing people, but being an amazing Shaco who can jump into a 1v5, kill someone, and get out alive), etc... Champs where you, you know, do more than just click on people and win or mindlessly spam things at people.
If Bard and Sol are causing problems in challenger, then that just further solidifies everything I say about how ranking is largely irrelevant
Stopped reading tbh. I prove you wrong like you ask and you're still pretending to know what you're talking about? Kek.
Whatever you have to tell yourself to make you feel better about being stuck in silver after hundreds of games kid.
Awww, he's resorting to insults based on my rank! So cute. :3
Now that you've admitted you lost the argument... Just because I'm not challenger doesn't mean that I'm some idiot who knows nothing about the game or its mechanics. Just means I haven't the luck to get good teams to actually climb, and don't play the boring champs that are basically guaranteed wins.
I know full well why I'm stuck in silver -- and, frankly, I refuse to fix the issue on the basis that gaming is meant to be fun, not a chore or a job.

"It's not me, it's my team."
Boy I've never heard that before.
Also, you said that Bard and Vel don't count as boring champs that are guaranteed wins, yet I've proven you can climb to very high elos with them. Hmmmm, it's almost like your logic doesn't add up...
Oh, and you don't need to play OP champs to get above silver. =)
The only time you climb to high ELOs with Bard or Vel'koz is when you have a premade, well-coordinated team to work with. On their own, both are pitiful. In solo queue, you probably shouldn't play Bard period, and Vel'koz is an iffy pick since you won't have peel.
It's almost like nearly everyone in high ELO got there in a duo or premade group... but nah, that's silly!
When everyone on your team has fed 5-6 kills at 15 minutes and you have no deaths but only a couple kills, yeah, you need to either be stupidly OP, or the enemy needs to be stupidly bad. Only way you're going to win that match.
It's almost like nearly everyone in high ELO got there in a duo or premade group... but nah, that's silly!
Substantiate this claim. =)
It'll be pretty hard, especially the premade bit, since challenger players existed before dynamic queue made premades of 3+ possible.
That's why I mentioned duos. Before dynamic queue was a thing, people would always tell me to duo with someone good, and I'd climb. You don't just climb in solo queue unless you're playing some absurd champion.

He's very risky because he can blow 5 million abilities without running oom.

fizz can be pretty hard to farm with in certain matchups, but yeah his roams are godly and he can burst even with few items. His lane is not easy though.
I would suggest Annie. Very easy kit which is hard to mess up; instant ult cannot miss unless they predict it. Easy Q mana refund mechanic makes last hitting easier, and her long range aa's are nice for harass or to farm safely from a distance.
Land a multi-man stun and you probably won your team the fight.
Honestly, most mid lanes are fairly easy to play, and very hard to master. There's the fundamentals of 'apply your spells in the correct order to the face' for the immobile mages, but once you do that you're in the clear. The 'how do i shot web' phase of mobile characters like Fizz and Zed can make them 'seem' difficult, but once you understand how to use your movement they become similarly simple and mostly you need to know when it's safe to dive in.
A lot of 'hard to master' is shared by a lot of champions in terms of basic game mastery. There are particulars to each champion to master, however.
You could probably pick 'any' champion viable in the mid lane and make it work up to high plat-low diamond minimum with 0 issues, tbh.
Edit: Oh, if you're specifically looking for 'dive assassin', that narrows the list down slightly. It depends more on what utility/other things you want in the kit, for that type of question.
Kassadin is pretty easy to learn, not too hard to master, and can do crap tons of damage. Also he has great escape/chase potential. His problem is that you have to be fairly passive in the early game which may be hard for aggressive players. He does really well into mages, but against those OP AD assassins (looking at you zed, yas, and talon) he has a harder matchup. The other drawback is he is melee but his kit compensates really well for this liability. In summation, if you want a safe, powerful mage, and dont mind taking a little time to scale; hes a freakin' beast when mastered.
Actually, Kass vs. Yas is one of my favorite matchups. :P You can both kill each other pretty quickly, and it's a lot of dancing around and playing around each other's kits. I can usually beat Yas with Kass, though.

Anivia is definitely hard to master, but I'd say she's easy to be at least good with.
She and Morgana are my go-to mid laners.
Not as hard to play as most people say and does insane burst damage.
Zed

Lose lane, win game
Zed, Yasuo, Fizz if you want to play easymode champions.
Dont even listen to people saying they are hard to play, they are pathetically easy to play, taking maybe 3 games to basically master, and they are pathetically broken in the right hands. I personally hate these players and champs but if you are looking for wins, they will give you the highest amount.

Tell me what you're on m8 i need some.

Talon is zed for people who don't want to say they main zed but still want to play LIKE zed
Zilean. His first lane isn't the greatest because of his weak attacks, but once you get some q levels you become obnoxious and even if you lose lane somehow, you have plenty to offer.
Even against slippery people like Fizz, you can still land bombs and be annoying. I just auto him like crazy at level 1 and keep bombing him, eventually at level 3 he may get pissed off and want revenge but you can manage it and at level 6 he'll never be able to get fed off you because of your ult, and you can push waves better than he can
Annie.
AoE instant cast R + Stun.
Katerina = Freelo for Bronze and Silver (maybe Gold as well, since they aren't that great at reaction time or coordination either) Zed = Solid Assassin with good poke, mobility, and burst Fizz = You can't fail as a Fizz really if you are trying to win... if you are somehow feeding and not getting a positive KDA, there is something wrong. LB = Point and Click with Mobility? Can't really fail as her...unless you have terrible reaction time and aim.
Come on guys, this was a no brainer.
